Brooke Feng comes from a long line of witches from China. Every family member before her has been enrolled in Raindale University, ever since it was built long ago. Before Brooke was born, her witch mother, Diu, moved to San Francisco after graduating from Raindale. That is where she met Brooke's human father, John. While growing up, Brooke had always been fascinated by her witch heritage and began to train to be just like them. But, overtime she began to think that she wanted to follow her own path on how to be a witch.

When Brooke entered high school, that was when her rebellious behavior kicked in. She made graffiti art throughout her neighborhood, started sneaking out of her house to go to parties and began to be a real troublemaker at school. Even though Brooke had many friends from high school, her only true friends were her younger sister Ruby and her pet dog, Clem.

Brooke and her sister Ruby did everything together, and have always been there for each other. They were inseparable but overtime, Ruby became very ill to the point where Ruby had to stay inside everyday. For the first time ever, Brooke felt like she needed to do something, something to make Ruby feel better again...and that where her Aunt came in.

After Brooke graduated from high school, her aunt encouraged Brooke to enroll to Raindale University. This was in hopes to help Brooke learn more magic and give her some discipline. At first, Brooke was against of the idea, but on the other hand this was the only way to learn healing magic to help her sister from her illness. Eventually Brooke gave in and accepted her aunt's offer to enroll in Raindale University.

Brooke Familiar is a pitbull dog name Clem. when Brooke was kid, she beg her parents for pet all the time. So by the time she turn eight, her parents bought her a little pitbull dog and help her form a contract with him, the two become buddies ever since.
