Gender: Girl. Appearance: An athletic frame boasting a head with medium-length brown hair, rosy cheeks, a scarred forehead, and a maniacal smile. On her body is a hooded sweatshirt from Boston, MA that goes down to the middle of her thighs, and a set of skinny jeans and/or leggings, depending on how cold it is and how lazy she is. Oftentimes she can be seen with blood soaking her clothes, but the hoodie was red to begin with, and the knife was always bloodied. History: Born as a child to two powerful warlocks, Carnation lived a peaceful life honing her capabilities of magical aspects from an early age, showing a large amount of potential with her magical capabilities. Unfortunately, that was only a little less than her life at this point, since she was promised greater power if she did an unspeakable deed and ended the life of her parents. Which she did, and she left her home after setting it on fire with her new powers gained from making that pact. Afterwards, she wandered as an 8 year old through various cities in Australia, doing as she pleased and doing business with a demon named Antonio, who claimed he was an accountant. He kept track of her unused souls that she stole from pedophiles and such, and she got the souls for him to use as payment for his aid and such. Odd, but quite a good bond nevertheless. The bond even stayed when Carnation was called into a specific job as a demonic investigator for somebody up in New England. After dumping some guy's clothes onto an empty runway, she headed off to New England and met who would soon be her new adoptive mom amongst a bunch of others with similar powers to her. From there on, everything went by as a blur. She killed for her job when others were afraid to, and she kept gathering souls to give to Antonio. It was quite alright for a long time, until Antonio decided to reveal his true intentions as the Loki. Yes, the Norse God of Trickery Loki. Then on, it was smooth sailing for Carnation. She ran away from her mom after finding out that Loki had wanted her to be his champion, which she accepted gratefully since she was pretty sure her mom was batshit anyway. Since then, Carn has been traveling the world, getting to know her true strengths and becoming a master of the Streetrat fighting style, as well as advancing a lot of her Warlock powers to capabilites far beyond what they were when she was like 9.
Personality
Motivations: Becoming a suitable champion for Loki, and doing whatever it takes to make that possible. Sexuality: Bicurious and Experimental. Likes:

Blood
Infernal Torment
Loki
Killing people
Warm Pizza
Knives
Kids
Leather
Jackets
Leather Jackets
Fire
Dislikes:

Soup, but only chowder
Geese
Rain
Sleeping Bags
Cardboard Boxes
Motels, namely the cheap kind
Boston
Sydney, Australia
Pedophiles
Not stabbing
General: Carnation is a mad teenager with power at such an intense level of strength that it's almost alarming how she hasn't gone mentally insane from the influx and potency of her own capabilities. She would sooner stab you then trade a Pokemon card with you and she'd much rather do it, too. The death she had been surrounded by might've shaped her to be this way, or it might've been there all along from the start. Regardless, she's all about killing, and she'll gladly do it if you're in her way or you've ever been in her way. Also, if you offer her cold pizza, she'll take it and stab you. Don't offer her cold pizza. Selling it to her is worse.
Fighting Arts
Skills: Haggling, lying, deceiving, baking, running, climbing, parkour of all shapes and types, pickpocketing, and butterfly knife tricks. She was good with them all when she was 10, but it's only become stronger as time has passed. Fighting Style: Streetrat Style There is no honor. There is no glory. There is only, and will only ever be, victory. In Streetrat Style, you use the environment to your advantage, and whatever you have is also a tool to your success. It can be anything ranging from that empty flask in your coat pocket as it collides with the opponent's skull, to the sand you keep in your shoes to blind someone. If it exists, it can be a weapon, and it will be used. Not only this, but you've been growing up on the streets to learn it, so you've gotten pretty good at dodging whatever comes your way. You dodge shanks like they were thrown wrenches, and you know that the shank only leaves your opponent open to their ultimate failure. Weaknesses: - Defense - Carn's based around not getting hit. She's going to definitely feel what you hit her with if you can land a hit. - Psychology - Bringing up her family or past is a way you'll get her on the aggressive, but if you manage to chip away at a mountain long enough, even it will bring forth an avalanche. Special Techniques: - Fireball - You lob a fireball like it was a child's head towards your foes. It's gonna explode and envelope a good sized area in flames. Not the strongest, but they'll definitely catch on fire. - Shadow Stride - You move like you are merely a cloud of smoke. Within mere seconds, you can slide through darkness and appear 10 feet away from your original location, though you won't be able to influence the world while you are moving. Good for sneak attacks and escape, as this isn't affected by terrain. - Loki's Choice - You throw out a random colored orb of nonsense in front of you. What results is purely up for Loki to decide. Super Arts: [HIGHWAY TO HELL] You call forth a shade from a story you recall being told by the Trickster God, specifically the story of the Hellbent Crusader. The Crusader is armed with a trusty mace and shield combo, and will watch your back for any attacks that come. It will move as fluently as you, and is bound to you until it's health depletes. When it's out of health, it fades away, waiting to be resummoned. Exp: 0 Equipment: - Carnation's Trusty Butterfly - A butterfly knife, stained brown from dried blood and as sharp as a Eagle's Eye. - The Human Leather Gloves - Carn's magical focus, now doubled! The left glove hasn't been identified, but her right glove is from the skin of her parents, tanned and turned into a fashionable accessory for going out on the town!
hey look i did it i posted in the ooc woo
It’s fun to see Carnation again. That said, this world and the world of Hellpact are very different, and her backstory needs to reflect that. Just carrying her over as she was and adding the fighting style section doesn’t make her a viable character. Her magic powers would need to be showcased in her special and supers. Things like the taking of souls and whatnot could happen, but it’ll need to be as a super art (and survivable, so it only takes the soul of the target dies). Otherwise, it’s not something she’ll be able to do. In Hellpact spirits and demons operated very specifically, but this world is more open. Actual Loki or Norse mythology wasn’t a dealer in souls, not all that bad a guy (setting aside the Ragnarok story, which was only believed by one subset of the Norse and adopted by Christians to showcase a “Satan figure” to the Norse to help with conversions). His trickery was, usually, mostly benign and used to teach the lesson that “sometimes shit just happens.” If you want to have Carnation as his champion and channel him, you’ll probably want to make her less murder-happy. So to make her viable, you’ll need to edit her history, make sure all abilities described in her history match her techniques, and possibly refine the champion aspect. Also, her current super art as is, needs to be changed. A permanent summon with its own health bar isn’t feasible, as a super art should only function for a single post of combat. Change that bit and it’s a fine super art.
