Name ► Sazel Zivrik Age ► 16 Gender ► Female Level/Tier ► Adept, Tier I House ► Bestia Appearance/Attire She is a short, 1.63m tall, girl with pale skin, greyish brown hair and orange eyes. She might look thin but the active lifestyle has made her decently fit, still, she has typical noble-house delicate features, even if she couldn't be further from that. Her hair is never combed, always in a fluffy messy state, she tries to keep it short but often cuts it unevenly. She has 'use whatever I have' attitude. Barely being able to tell the difference between fancy and rough, overdressed and nude. Usually, she is seen wearing a wooly poncho (black on green, matching the color of the environment, for example, dark to match the night and the halls of L'Mordryn) along with a clashing mix of simple and fancy clothes and many accessories, all styled after her home region. Many of her clothes and accessories seem to be expensive but are often unkempt, if not torn. Alignment ► Hellion (Chaotic Impure) Personality/Habits If you meet Sazel, you will likely know this is a girl from Bestia at first glance, she is at home in the wilds, with messy clothes, an energetic disposition, a practical mindset, unphased by situations and creatures many would call strange, filthy or dangerous, and often uncaring about society's standards, to the point of not even rebelling against them, simply living parallel to it. One day she might act like a tomboy and the other day she is weirdly ladylike, she doesn't care about picking sides, about philosophies or about societal change, she cares about herself and lives each day as its own. Things that are not of her interest are dealt with apathy and laziness, which gives the impression of an untalented person, however, when pressed on her obligations, she often manages to persevere through the tasks, though how can range from half-assing just enough, tricks such as knowing what sorts of answers the teacher like, or to some actual and exceptional effort. Some teachers wondered if the girl was an erratic genius, but that overstates her skills and downplays how much of it is her own fault, Sazel is better described as a gifted slacker. She becomes an entirely different girl when something catches her attention, showing anything but lethargy towards the topic. She is smart enough to excel what she likes but often has issues overthinking, planning too far ahead, missing the point and being overwhelmed. It ends up being quite ironic, in matters she is apathetic about Sazel is able to pinpoint the three books that are relevant to the issue, but if the subject is something she likes she instead tries to read hundreds of books and worries too much about missing information. She is genuinely friendly, but it has to be said she is a trickster who sees no problem in playing out of the rules if she feels like it, its eat or be eaten out there so any advantage is nice, so cheating, playing on people's psychology and lies are not out of her arsenal of actions. If she is caught or outplayed, she won't be bitter about it but instead even think of the other person as witty and respectable. That said, this doesn't mean she goes down easily, on the contrary, she has strong willpower and even if victory is impossible she will aim to lessen her defeat and last as long as she can, thinking along the lines of 'in a world of eat or be eaten, if you can't be at the top you should aim to give the other side the indigestion of a lifetime.' Background One might be surprised to hear this, but Sazel was not born in some forest village at the borders of civilization but instead was born to a minor noble family, which is the source of the nicer clothes she wears sometimes in the academy and many of her mannerisms. Her family is from an old and traditional country and is about as old as it, in the past they were somewhat relevant, with many decent summoners in all the arts the locals didn't consider to be peasant magic, which was basically everything but Bestia. Though in the last century and a half, things took a turn: The last Machina to share Sazel's surname died selling trinkets on the street, the last Phantasma didn't even graduate after burning one too many eyebrows belonging to teachers and the last Dracona made the mistake of summoning more than what she could chew, an issue the dragon didn't share. As such Sazel was not expected to be a mage or pressured into it, she grew initially like any normal sheltered noble child, expect to take an administrative role and enrolled in costly prestigious schools. In such institutions Sazel was an enigma, she spent most of her time alone, always looked bored in classes and failed every test until the last one, when she would miraculously ace a test or carry a whole group project on her back. She was eccentric, but still a normal girl. Then her dreams started. She would see herself floating across realms unlike her own, where she would meet countless curious beasts, and although many would chase or attack her, the dreams always felt pleasant and not like nightmares. To her parents, the result was that all of sudden their delicate and lazy daughter had started adventuring into the gardens of the state, to chase the ducks and horses around, to go into the nearby village to visit its farms and to arrive home all covered in mud, yet smiling. As a traditional family of a traditional region, it took them some time to fully accept her situation, it was a constant fight between their desire to be rigorous and the fear they would curb the potential of the girl who was for once interested in something. Since she was still a nice child who was not particularly rebellious, any censorship of her behavior felt unwarranted. Ultimately they had to accept the facts, a Bestian summoner was problematic but more useful than yet another unremarkable frontier noble, furthermore, Sazel was growing wilder and wiser about the world and the other realms, if she was to lean Ars Invocato, it was best that she did it like a proper lady among the safety and experience of the L'Mordryn, not reading second-hand manuscripts or chasing the words of hermits from the woods.

Clubs Occult Club She started this to get more answers about her dreams and didn't quite find that, still, it's a neat pastime, and it helps that she isn't really phased by most of the things this club deals with. Realm Exploration Club Her absolute love, she is very active in the club, often compiling notes, making maps and actively trying to set up trips to the other realms. She even picked up drawing so she could properly take notes on what she sees. Chronicle Club She joined the club by chance, as there was a certain interest in her notes from the trips. As someone who did go to a noble school she is able to write well, and has since expanded to cover both occult stories and realm travelogues, she is also supposed to keep up with Bestia related news, but she is a bit lazy about that. Schedule TBA

Favorite Summons
A ram who lives in a swamp, the one Sazel calls Brunk is not exactly a fast creature, albeit once it starts to move it takes a lot to stop him. She can ride on his back and harvest some wool for her poncho. He is a bit of a trickster himself and is not beyond making sudden stops just to send Sazel flying into something, though he makes sure its something soft.

Carota Mandragorās in proper terminology, this is a mandrake variant from a distant realm, unlike the typical shrieking one, this one thankfully less shrill. It burrows underground and surprises approaching creatures by popping up, yawning loudly and sucking in air, enough to trap a small prey. The fat stocky body has a strong defense.
Linked Realms
Summons from this location: Brunk, Cenoro. The Misty Tundra, as Sazel calls it, is a cold, humid realm, often veiled in fog, this region is composed of large and rocky plains as well as swamps were the trees grow tall and thin, there is a tall icy mountain and a cold ocean, though these are far from the reach of most summoners. Most of the fauna here resemble Pleistocene Earth, of course, with far weirder creatures, such as the mole mandrakes. This region is somewhat dangerous on foot and unprepared, its a primal area where many predators hunt, one also needs warm clothes to be able to withstand the cold. In general, having an animal to ride, especially if its an animal that move in herds.

Name | Padi Genemaya Age | Last seen at 19, would be 22 Gender | Female Level/Tier | Virtuoso, Tier II House | Bestia Appearance/Attire | Through her life she has kept a similar look, always very serious looking on her attires, usually wearing military-like dresses or sports outfit. She had light brown skin and white hair, when she arrived it was quite short but it grew longer the more she stayed in the academy. She trained every day, and as such, she grew to have a well-defined body.

Alignment | Vigilante, Rebel Moral Personality/Habits | Genemaya, or Padi as most called her, was a bit of a strange figure. Unlike most people who like to walk around in L'Mordryn on military attire, she wasn't arrogant or vain, and not only because she wasn't noble, but because she was truly humble. That said, she was very irritable towards those who stepped out of line and sometimes came off as a bit of a delinquent as she had no problem in threatening others if they were behaving improperly or being a nuisance. She was focused and talented, and although she disliked disruption, she was more than willing to help others, it also had to be said that she wasn't exactly grumpy and often she was seen smiling after she did well on a test or a battle, she seemed to be enjoying her time in the academy. Background | Genemaya, unlike many students, came from a republic, no noble name on her back, only her own hard work. She joined the military school quite young, liking the discipline and clear objectives they had, and as soon as she discovered her potential to be a summoner, she started to seek further education in the area. She wasn't exactly stellar, but she wasn't a push around either, she couldn't skip years with ease like a few legendary summoners, but she never failed her tests. This discipline landed her as one of the students the republic would pay to enroll in L'Mordryn, after the mediocre kids of a few officials didn't make past the tests, the relationship soured between the government and the academy, accusations of bias against their nation being thrown around, this led to the program being canceled, but Genemaya decided to, controversially, still apply for L'Mordryn instead of going back to the republic's lackluster summon school. It had hurt her that this came off as a betreyal of the republic as she merely wanted to learn what made L'Mordryn work and bring it back home. In the academy Geremaya pretty much kept her same approach, studying hard, but the only thing worth of note during her first years was the sudden growth spur from tomboy to glamazon and the slow melting of her military recruit aloof approach to a more casual one. She won some battles and lost others, she called forth increasngly complex monsters with great effort, she got in a few fights with noisy students and then... she vanished. It was sudden, and it happened right as the students were torn between leaving the school for summer or taking the last few extra classes. She was gone, no hint of her anywhere, no matter where others looked. Portals were assessed, searches were done in the realms her summons came from, and through summer a lot of detective work had been done to find the missing student, no clue to be found. The general consensus is that she probably suffered an accident in the trip back home, though there is no proof she even left the academy grounds. This was, oddly, what made Geremaya such a memorable student, a talk of student rumours and occult club discussions ever since. It's not like a few students hadn't had got the short end of the stick over the history of summoning academies, but the sudden vanishing with no clues is a peculiar one. Favorite Summons |
Sometimes simple is better, especially when that simple is done at a colossal size. Karkatakam is a massive, massive crab with reinforced shell to the point even magic has trouble hurting him. Is there more to this creature? Can it walk forward? No, but its still a fearsome opponent in sheer size and dominance.

An ancient order of assasin rabits, a group of up to five of these could be called in battle, bringing things much more terrifying than their cute fluff would lead you to believe. By far one of Genemaya's smallest summons, and yet one of the hardest to deal with. Ancient manuscripts dealing with these beasts

Slimes are infamous among Bestia for being hard creatures to deal with, as, obviously, they aren't exactly the smartest ones and often are mocked as budget versions of Phantasma's Mimics and elementals. A tamed slime though, is an amazing asset to any summoner, especially if they are flexible, from hammers to bikes to whales, a trained slime is the best friend of a summoner. One of the slime species that can take the most complex form was discovered by Lady Oraviere back when she was a student, which explains the name of the poor creature, though it was also known to be a stiff and stubborn creature, which made Genemaya's taming of it quite impressive.

Genemaya's summon that gave her the rank of Virtuoso Tier II, even if she never had the time to fully tame the sphinx, it was still impressive to bring forth a beast of such power. The sphinxs is not only a strong bodied creature, but she is also capable in many magical arts, especially illusion and mind reading.

In her quest to tame the sphinx, Genemaya became aquainted with this mysterious species, being one of the first summoners to properly link with them, though taming was another matter. Nevertheless, the silver scaled cats became loyal companions to the silver haired woman, and a pack of three of these was not something you'd like to meet.
