Name: Ryte Vennschneizen Title(s): The Dollmaker's Thirdborn, The Last Daughter Gender: Female Age: 11 (Physically 20) Alignment: True Neutral Rank: Objective for the Grail: "I wish- no... I want to live a longer, human life compared to my current one, or at the very least: something to stop the decay permanently." Something that isn't hitting the Root and making a killing off your Clock Tower thesis/proposals. Ryte, the dying homunculus, and self-proclaimed last of the Dollmaker's daughters has zero idea that she is in a Holy Grail War. It was only because of her strong wish to survive, to live, that she was picked as a Master and candidate for the French Holy Grail's ownership. Command Seal: Three rings bound together by a larger ring encircling them. Personality: "Hello! Could you perhaps tell me where I am? I'm being chased you see and I want to know if this place is safe enough for me." Friendly, polite, and honest when she needs to be. She's the ideal "Girl Next Door" that young boys would like to take out on a date at least once. She shows a slight strictness in her tone if the situation calls for it and is concerned for those she cares about deeply, especially towards the young and toward the elderly. It is also where she trusts too easily and why she has been chased out of her home and in other safe houses she's lived before coming to France. For some odd reason, she can't force herself not to be skeptical of people. She is an open book, a girl willing to give a chance to those she meets and offers their sense of help. Besides, she can defend herself if things go south and escape when the opportunity presents itself. She isn't very bright and is a bit forgetful of what she was doing when under stress or when working. All her focus tends to be on one subject and the rest of the information that isn't related to the subject is hit or miss. It is why she asks a second time and often persuades the stingy ones who would never repeat it to her just because she's a ditzy homunculus girl. Despite this light-hearted persona she wears, alongside it is a strong resolve and affirmation to her beliefs in morals. If she sticks with it, it's almost impossible to change her mind. Bio:
World War II had ended and while he was a recruit for the Nazi Regime’s research division, he had retired without racing suspicion from the Russians occupying Berlin almost immediately after killing the Tyrannical Jewish Genocider, Adolf Hitler. The Vennschneizens were typically new to the magecraft world having perfecting their craft in Alchemy and the creation of Mystic Codes. Klaus Vennschneizen would be the Third Generation in their house, continuing their legacy up until settling down with a woman who knew nothing about their magical reality out in little Augsburg. Klaus Vennschneizen and his wife gave birth to a baby girl, one he would let his legacy pass on while she was still young. Whenever his wife left for errands, he would always remain to take care of his child, teaching her the practice of Alchemy and filling her head with the various thaumaturgy and magecraft a single mage could practice whenever they have the time. Of course both members of the family passed it off as the excuse for science and naively, the wife believed them. Nothing could have gone wrong of course… nothing… had the Association not get involved. The daughter, inspired by her father, Klaus decided to openly share the word of their craft, hoping to get fame and fortune for their average lives in Augsburg. Klaus was skeptical about the proposal as it is quite risky, should the public know that Mystery exists among them as well as showing the means to utilize its presence in the form of Magecraft, the less Mystery sticks around for them to work on. As usual, the Association caught wind of this and decided to eliminate the girl that Klaus had protected for so long. As if matters didn’t get any worse, his wife found about her daughter’s death and blamed his “science projects”... the Alchemy that inspired her in the first place… and left him alone in the household. Klaus was depressed but not intensely so, sure he harbored hatred for the Association as they killed the latest in their legacy but he was sadder at the fact that his daughter never got to experience the world that she dreamt about. No. Klaus wasn’t going to let that despair win and take the easy way out of life, he began to dabble in the creation of homunculi, hoping to recreate his daughter in the form of real-life dolls. Klaus was a puppet maker during his childhood, surely beautiful, perfect-looking, human dolls wouldn’t be a problem right? Wrong. It definitely was. He had created three of them since his wife left, it was hard, it was time-consuming and it was certainly cost-heavy as he had to pay expenses for his necessities. They all look like his daughter, one that looks exactly like her, one who would look like her in a future that will never come, and one that looks like a younger version of herself. These three had imperfections but he didn’t throw them away… he loved all of them just as he loved his daughter, whether it was genuine or not… throwing them away didn’t seem like the right thing to do for him. By the end of it, every experiment he had, every method he deviated from. There was no way to bring her daughter back unless he dabbled in the forbidden magecraft of Necromancy and even that was a cruel fate to someone resting in peace. He gave up, and with it... his life. Leaving his three daughters in the broken home with the Eldest- The First dying within the year, then came the Second after accomplishing vengeance for her "father's" wife leaving them. The Second was unaware that it had led the Association right back home.

Ryte was Klaus's latest and final project. She was created to look like her, molded carefully and slowly she was ready to be released into the world she was brought into from odd machines. First contact with her sisters and father, she responded normally but overtime the way she acted was unlike her late daughter. Yet despite this he still loved Ryte. It is during this time that Ryte had begun investigating Klaus’s original daughter, often asking him questions and looking through old photo albums. It ended up with the father crying and her comforting him in the end. Her father took her own life as she developed various magecraft from both her sisters: The First and the Second as a means to defend herself as her father had already given into despair and took his own life. With the three of them running the house they were living in, they were okay for a short time until it the First's life begun decaying a year after their father died. The tragedy hasn't stopped there. The sisters knew that no doctor can help them now, their father's notes state that his homunculi have at least ten years to live before they melt into the dissolved ingredients they were once before. As a parting gift, the First taught Ryte Transmutation and died not long after. The Second's case wasn't as natural as the First's. Gaining wind of Klaus's wife, she had to go hunt her down and exact vengeance for leaving him in such a fragile state. She succeeded for the most part and discovered that the she had married into another magus family. It was because of this that the Second decided to kill their heir, their husband and the woman she sought after in the slowest way possible. Unfortunately for her, she was hunted down by a rogue faction they represented, her life ending in the middle of nowhere during the chase and a lead to where Ryte was. Ryte was attacked at home, the rogue magi had arrived to take her out and hunt her down if she escaped their clutches. If she hadn't learned offensive Magecraft from her sisters, she would've been destroyed the same way. Having no way to find the Second's body, she took to defending the home from them. Barely standing, crippled, surrounded from all sides. Chaos was scaring her to the point of tears and instead of returning for the keepsakes, she left her only home out of cowardice. She ran for days, months, years. The rogues on her tail her whole life, travelling to a multitude of places sometimes as a stowaway and sometimes as a passenger. For each safe-house she establishes, each time it gets attacked, ransacked, searched then burned. Ryte was given no breaks and for every year she counts, she knows she was going to die without accomplishing anything meaningful. She stopped at Paris, France and took refuge in a sturdy, abandoned apartment room somewhere near the edge of the city. Her last safe-house and her last place of haven. A mossy, run-down apartment room that looked decent enough with a little cleaning but is uncomfortable for a girl of her plastic beauty to sleep in. Perhaps she was going to die here, cold and alone and sobbing. Or she was going to do something about it. A last stand. Or maybe Fate had other plans for her. Command Spells appeared in her hand, thinking it was a result of the decay, she was unaware of such a blessing in disguise. A blessing it may be but it is also a curse as several others with the same mark are also vying for the land and a cup wish. Her struggle for survival ends here. Win or Lose.

Magic Circuit Switch: Emulating the sound of ringing chimes. Number of Magic Circuits: A Quality of Magic Circuits: D
Elemental Affinity: Water Magecraft: Due to the decay that is currently occurring within Ryte. Constant spellcasting further increases the decay rate and could kill her off even before the Grail War ends on the eighth day. General Magecraft Basic magecraft that are essentials to a magus's skillset such as the creation of Bounded Fields, contracting of familiars, Reinforcement, etc. I. Bounded Field (Pacification) - Most magi practice creating Bounded Fields to keep themselves out of sight of weaker magi and the local populace when conducting tasks in a workshop or when in preparation for a ritual. Ryte may be a homunculus but she is no exception to this matter. The creation of Bounded Fields to her is as simple as a snap of a finger, however she has mastered one variant: A Field that pacifies hostile emotions preventing fights from breaking out. While this doesn't do well for most offensive Servants, this does prove effective to combat familiars and lesser spirits. Water Magecraft Something she learned from the Second Sister, rather adapted. When it was her time to decay, she took the time to ask her for help on how her Elemental Magecraft works. However, since Ryte had a Water affiliation, the sister decided to teach her with spells regarding said element since all she needed were spells to defend herself from dying immediately from any rival magi. I. Freischlar/Falle - Spells concerning the creation of "water bombs/traps" and the like. Ryte can set prepare pre-made spells that trigger when in proximity range and explode the same way a modern mine would. Only instead of a fiery explosion, the targets are greeted with something similar to acid where the skin gets peeled off if even a little bit splashed on exposed skin. Clothes disintegrate in splash radius as well. It's not enough to kill a magus, only enough to stun them with intense, stinging pain. II. Lebenwaffe - Spells that create literal liquid familiars that are under the control of Ryte's consciousness. Water Magecraft that translates to "Living Weapons". These familiars can act as base guards or spies if they see fit. The best familiars she can concuct from this magecraft are slime-like organisms able to shoot acidic liquid or absorb nutrients for it to grow in size and can change its shape if ever Ryte wants to get a little imaginative. Alchemy: Transmutation A parting gift from the Eldest Sister. Ryte was able to adapt to Alchemy and although is not as physically capable as her. The sister thought that she might transmute the limbs of her body to endure against low-rank spells at least. The only metal she is capable of transmuting is Reinforced Silver. Crest: None Weapon: Mystic Code: Dollmaker ~ Nostalgia A Mystic Code that comes in the shape of a copper suitcase that, when opened becomes a silo-like automaton that repairs skin tissues that may have been damaged during battle. However, while there were other Dollmakers when she was ten years younger. This variant seems to be a combination of the prototype given to her Eldest Sister and the stable one given to her Second Sister as it also seems to stabilize the Circuits from decay trying to creep its way into her Circuits for a little while before it returns in an attempt to defile it. It is because of this decay that this Mystic Code is vital to her lest her Magic Circuits get corrupted and render itself unusable and could spell a fatal mistake during spell casting. The topmost part of the silo can detach itself and become something similar to what would be known as a modern day drone, while it doesn't do much compared to its silo form. It's enough for a quick pick-me-up. Exceptional Benefit: Secured Leyline
