[indent][sub]↳ At first glance, Mo appears to be cold and calculating, her expression always one that leads people to believe this. Her strong case of "resting bitch face" often gives her a somewhat unfriendly air, though she doesn't really mind that it puts people off. Her skin is the color of caramel, and speckling her nose are freckles that are a darker brown color than her skin. She'll usually cover these freckles, as well as any other temporary blemishes, with a thin layer of concealer and foundation. Her skin is usually free of any acne scars or marks, an exception being the vertical scar on her upper lip which she tends to cover up with makeup. Her natural hair is short, kinky, and has recently been bleached blonde to match her eyebrows. She has a prominent nose and full lips that always look poised to speak something important, but her most compelling features are her piercing brown eyes that can change from affection to aversion in an instant without notice.  

Weighing in at a little over one hundred sixty pounds and standing at five feet, ten inches tall in flats with all the grace and poise of a queen, Mo probably could have been a model if she had wanted to venture into that profession. She carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides, and her head held high. Due to this and her love of high heels, she often looks taller than she really is. In addition to her height, she is quite long legged and relatively curvy; her mother always used to joke around and say that she inherited her wide hips and large bust from her grandmother. She is also very toned and athletic, spending a good portion of her time in the gym and jogging around her neighborhood to stay in shape.

Much of Monique is an assertion of androgyny, from her statement lack of hair to her short nails. She does love striking outfits, though, especially when she wants to make a scene, in which case she'll pair the outfit with her usual bright colored lipstick, matching nails and painfully high heels. When she isn't dolled up, she enjoys wearing men's clothing, successfully proving that she can pull off both stunning skirts and dresses as well as charming suits or joggers and sneakers. She likes to look her best everyday, and usually spends about two hours each morning making sure that there's nothing out of place. It's rare to see Monique in a state of disarray as she believes that she should always look prepared and presentable, especially when she's the most frazzled.[/sub][/indent]

[indent][sub]↳ If anyone who doesn't know Monique that well would have to describe the young woman in one word, the first that would pop into their mind would be "bitch," and the second would be something along the lines of "impudent." Though being a pretty face, Mo has a bit of a reputation for not being the friendliest girl on the block. Her introverted nature also makes her seem a bit stand-offish and cold, therefore making it very challenging to befriend her. She's very blunt and straightforward, and doesn't hesitate to put someone in their place. She's very articulate and observant, and tends to notice things about people that they may not even be consciously aware of themselves. With the aid of her eloquence, Mo is also very manipulative, like her mother, and finds joy in getting others to do as she pleases. 

Another negative trait that Mo possesses is her tendency to be aggressive and impulsive. Ever since she was a child, Monique has acted before thinking about the consequences of said actions. This, of course, has gotten her into a lot of trouble, whether it be with the principal throughout grade school, or even the police a few times in high school. Now that she is older, however, she tries her best to put her natural aggression to good use. Let's just say, Monique is very [i]good[/i] at doing her job.

Despite all of her shortcomings, Monique is extremely dependable and protective. If she says that she is going to do something, she will do everything in her power to follow through. One of the many things that Mo inherited from her mother is her playfulness; Ever since she was a young girl, Monique has loved joking around with her friends and family; she's always enjoyed making the people around her happy. Although she doesn't joke around as much as she did before she grew older and shit started getting real, she does still have her moments. Another trait of Mo's, one that she probably got from her grandmother, is how relaxed she tends to be, even when dealing with stressful situations. Monique is the type of girl who prefers to just go with the flow and take things in stride. Though seeming to not care about much, Mo would go to Hell and back for the people that she loves, even though she has an odd way of showing it. [indent][sub]↳ On October 1st, 1989, forty-three infants were inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. While seven of these children were adopted by billionaire industrialist Sir Reginald Hargreeves, the rest of these children were either raised by their families or given up for adoption. Unfortunately for Monique Griffin, she was one of the unlucky few who ended up being completely abandoned by her biological mother. Seventeen year old La'Toya Brooks had gone into labor in a high school locker room immediately after her basketball game; a few of her teammates not only helped her deliver the baby without anyone else knowing, but also drove with her to a nearby fire station where Monique was wrapped in a few old blankets and left behind.

This was only the first of many unfortunate situations to befall Monique following her delivery into this harsh world. The young lady was shuffled among numerous foster homes until she reached the age of sixteen; it was around that time that she decided to live independently out of her car. For the remainder of her high school years, Monique would do whatever she needed in order to survive; this included going into school earlier than the other students so that she could shower, stealing food and toiletries from local stores, and sometimes even dealing drugs for extra cash. Monique graduated from high school by the skin of her teeth, and decided that she'd much rather enlist in the army after graduation than try her luck at applying for the scholarships and grants she'd need to be able to afford to go to college. It was during basic training that Monique became aware of her unique ability; it was also during this time that she decided to start learning more about firearms and how to use them properly. 

Monique served six years in the army before retiring and returning to her hometown; she'd saved up enough money to get herself a small apartment in PG County, Maryland and a pet Tabby Cat. It was also during this time that she started working as a security guard at a nightclub in Washington, DC. While Mo is now fully aware of what she is capable of, she only gets to showcase her ability when she visits the shooting range.

[indent][sub]↳ [i]Enhanced Accuracy | Marksmanship[/i] - Monique can achieve complete and utter accuracy on distant targets, with the activity in her brain center for aim, accuracy and precision drastically improved. She only needs to aim for an instant before she can precisely hit a target with a projectile. She can judge extremely long distances accurately, gauging the strength needed to launch a projectile, in order to hit a target accurately. If her target is moving, Mo can quickly calculate the best method to hit said target. Visual obstructions like smoke and vegetation do not always hinder her ability to get an accurate bead on her target, and her intense focus on whatever she is targeting at allows her to shut out outside distractions.[/sub][/indent]
