Her hair, when straight, would reach down to her shoulders and is dyed white. Her eyes are a deep green, the rest of her complexity is fair, her body is slim, no sign of muscle just a wiry frame. She stands at 5’4 and usually wears casual clothing, such as skinny jeans and a plain t-shirt, avoiding drawing attention to herself where possible. Her cape costume consists of; long black and white striped thigh highs and arm length gloves. She wears a short dress corset and has a white mask.

[b]History:[/b]
Talia grew up in a big city, keeping to herself mostly beside a few close friends which she eventually lost contact with. She graduated from school early and studied Marine Biology at university. She was always curious about the ocean and what lies at the bottom of the ocean hidden away from what humans have done. She made new friends at university and then more when she worked at a marine research facility. 

She had known of capes but never run into any and she wished for her own powers when she was a child, but knew it wasn’t likely now.

One day her team did a routine exploration in a submarine, surveying an area in a marine conservation park. Talia had stayed up on the surface in the laboratory to process the results as the team went. As she is sitting in the lab waiting for the data to start coming through, alarms start to go off all around her. There were intruders, a local gang, she recognised from news reports, they were breaking in and hacking the systems, redirecting the submarine into a rocky shelf. They raided the marine labs, looking for poison from a sea creature they were researching. 

Talia survived by hiding away in a cupboard, spending the night there to make sure they had left. A report came in a few days later the crashed remains of the submarine were found with the corpses of the crew inside. 

She left her job, angry at what humans had done, not just to the world but to her friends. With nothing left she fell into a slump, hiding away from the world, facing survivors guilt. Eventually, she decided to look into para humanism once more, trying to find a way for her to be someone and to punish those who have done her wrong. She eventually was found by Cauldron and they gave her powers. She didn’t have the money to pay them so to this day she owes them six favours. She came to Denver originally to scope out the community and to see what chaos she could cause.

Marionette creates and fires ethereal strings from her fingers, these ethereal strings can connect to either inanimate or animate things. They are then under her control, she manipulates their movements like a puppeteer would manipulate a marionette doll. She is clunky and not as skilled with precise movements of objects. Severing the ethereal string would cause the victims limb, that was being controlled by that sting, to be numb and have a lack of feeling for 2 minutes. The strings can be placed set between inanimate objects as a warning system, Talia will get a ping that a line has been broken.


[b]Limitations:[/b] She can only control one person per arm, it takes full use of an arm and hand to properly control someone. The range on the ethereal strings is no further than a few blocks. Only physical exterior things of the object being controlled can be affected, for example, a string cannot just go on their heart and stop it.
