Born in the sunny state of the west coast in the suburban hills of Calabasas to two affluent immigrant parents. Astraia was the first of the pair of twins to come screaming into the world at 11:58 pm. Four minutes the senior to her beloved little brother. As kids they were always attached at the hip, exploring the world together, spending summers in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid and Milan, Italy with their grandparents. 

In Spain, when Aurelio was off exploring the town with their abuela, Yessi spent her days helping Alejo (her abuelo and best friend) rebuild a 1960 Aston Martin D50, where she soon developed a love for cars.

When her maternal grandmother died in the winter of 7th grade the two stopped visiting Spain as often and instead accompanied their father on his lengthy trips to South Korea where he was expanding his apartment holdings, and where Astraia found her interest in Taekwondo.

New business opportunities sprung up across the states and brought the family to the east coast’s sunny state, Florida. Where 

Yessi’s first year of high school was a whirlwind of unforgettable moments, between losing her abuelo, spiraling out of control, and [s]falling[/s] for the bad boy. Though in Sophomore year when things started to feel somewhat normal, Alessio’s... “side business” and Yessi’s involvement came onto their Father’s radar and all the kids were promptly yanked out of the states without any warning. 

Yessi practically disappeared from the lives of her friends, without any explanation, deleting social media, and changing numbers. Almost as if she hadn’t existed, but an angry devil left behind was proof enough of her existence.

Where Reli found love in Korea, Yessi only found trouble; enough to eventually have them once again on the move.

Through some bad karma, or because the universe hates her, Yessi found herself back in Florida, with no connections, an angry brother and a handful of scorned friends. [i]Fun[/i]

Well...there could be worse things, right?
