I wrote him around only having two 'significant' powers, being his queer ability to 'see' lacking any sort of visible sensory organ, and the absolute lack of sound he makes. When it comes to the wings and tail, those are natural methods of moving or manipulating the environment from a clear source and can thus be 'nullified' by damaging the relevant areas of the body. As far as the strength and durability, it is not as powerful as someone who's main draw is superstrength or invulnerability, but still notable enough that I thought to include it (I mean, something twice as big as the average human can probably lift more than the average human). As for telepathy, that is simply to have a way of holding a conversation since he has no voice with which to speak normally and I feel it would be both difficult and time consuming if every conversation this char had with someone was a game of charades (and trying to keep this as only a 'minor' power, I elected to make it require physical contact). Lastly for self-sustenance, it only covers having energy to use despite not having (nor being able to lacking a mouth) to consume nutrients, vitamins, and such like animals normally do. This one I pondered about a little of how 'strong' or 'weak' this should be. what does it cover, and what limitations it has. Ultimately, it simply means he does not have to eat. He still would still suffer from fatigue, and need to sleep like others. This character is inspired by the Night-Gaunts of the Cthulhu Mythos (The idea for this character being 'what if a human, but trapped in the body of a monster?') and supposedly they did have a method of feeding, somehow, from a certain entity, but it is never really explained and often left as a part of the fear factor of this creature(how does a thing that cannot eat, live? exist?). I eventually decided that it would be a lot of extra effort to explain something that I do not think really builds up the character in any significant way so I elected to weasel my way out of this one. That is my line of thinking about this. I see him as only having two, maybe three 'significant' or notable powers with a couple more minor or supportive powers. Hope you see my way of thinking when I wrote it out and I think I might re-arrange it a bit to have a 'major' and 'minor' power section or something similar. I still have a little bit of formatting, maybe add in some flavor text, (probably even think of some gear he would have) I want to do to make it a little cleaner before I post it in CS, which I will do later today when I get back from my classes.
Okay, cool. And now that you've explained it, I do see what you mean.
