Here we go! Let me know what you think!
Name: Jenny Steban Age: 19 Gender: Female Abilities: Resurrective Immortality - Jenny isn't too good at staying dead. She dies as easily as anyone in the world, but a short while after her death, her corpse springs back to life, fully healed of injuries - gunshot wounds close, broken bones mend, even limbs regrow. Without an inhibitor chip, the process of resurrection takes about a minute, sometimes less - with an inhibitor, she can stay dead anywhere from several hours to an entire day. The process has a deteriorative side effect on her mind, particularly her memories. She has trouble remembering things from immediately before her death, occasionally forgetting what she was doing or the exact face of the person that killed her. Unbeknownst to her, the effect is more subtle on her long-term memories, but potentially far worse; details of her life fade the more she dies and comes back, treasured memories grow duller, voices grow less distinct. Skills: Jenny is good with computers - she's got a working familiarity with security software and a knack for getting into places and finding things she's not supposed to. This extends to a respectable grasp of the ancient art of breaking and entering: she's not a ninja, and her ability to sneak past people is basically limited to 'move fast and quiet and hope they're not looking', but she's nevertheless decent at getting into places where she's not wanted. Equipment: Few changes of clothes, shitty laptop that barely works, toothbrush, more beanies than she probably needs. Biography: The first time Jenny died, she was six years old, in what would become the most famous event in the modern world - the Black Sabbath. Her parents were among the thousands of nonpowered individuals that lost their lives, and Jenny died with them, only to spring back to life a minute later, not understanding what had happened or where her parents had gone. After that, Jenny's life was defined by falling through an overworked foster care system. The Black Sabbath left an untold number of orphans in the area, and unsurprisingly, none of them got the care that they needed. As she grew, Jenny learned how to fall through the cracks and make life for the people trying to take care of her absolutely miserable. She displayed an affinity for computers and for getting into things and places she wasn't wanted - her personal favorite trick was sneaking into the office of the orphanage director, breaking into his computer and sending pictures of the woman he was having an affair with to his wife - and she continued to experiment with her powers. She was seventeen years old and in her fourth foster home when her secret got out - she stole her foster mother's car and pretzled it around a tree in an accident that was ruled 'unsurvivable' for an unpowered individual, which made it very strange indeed that she was left without a mark on her. She was tested for the Devo gene, chipped, and tossed in an overcrowded compound with all the other freaks. She's been there for two years, angry at the world, biding her time, knowing that when she gets free, there'll be no stopping her.
