[@Sanity43217] The Runes are the people chosen by the Allfather, and given special powers. There are a limited number of Runes, and not all of them might be happy about the situation, since the Blessed, which is an organization made to fight World Eaters and keep Ragnarok from happening, basically said “you’re the chosen one and you don’t have a choice” before effectively whisking them off to the headquarters.
The Blessed don’t have the powers the Runes have, and while the Runes are sort of forcibly drafted into the ranks of the Blessed, it wasn’t a thing where they actively signed up for the cause. (Unless they were a Blessed beforehand and then got hit with a Rune.)
