His life story both before joining and after leaving the King of Knights' court is the subject of a lot of contention, however the fact remains that the "Child of Sadness" is as beautiful as he's downcast. Even with all that happened in his past, Tristan still remains loyal to his vows as a knight and to his burning love for Iseult. If his master is righteous and just, he'll dedicate his whole being to their cause, but even they'll be spared no mercy if their nature is fundamentally wicked. However, his whole reasoning is shaken when it comes to females, if his master turns out to be a woman, Tristan's dedication will be manifolds greater, to the point that he'd willingly walk into a trap to rescue them if need be. Naturally, his wish to the Holy Grail is to fulfill his role as one of the Knights of the Round Table. In other words, Tristan's single wish would be for the Grail to find its way to his King's hands and perhaps then, his own wrongdoings would be forgiven as well. He was called Tristan, the child of sorrow; for grief follows him so ever since his birth. By means of his singing voice, filled with lamentation, it provides additional bonus to his musical performance. -- Admonishment of the King of Knights B: "The king understands not of human heart-----" The decisive trauma that was engraved on the King of Knights. In the legend, it was a severely heart rending admonition. And yet the Knights of the Round Table, summoned as Servants, unanimously declare so: "Nay. We truly know not what manner of thing you are guilty of." The words he left at the very end was an excessively cruel remark; Tristan himself severely regrets uttering those words. -- Weakness (Poison) D: In the legend, numerous times he was weakened by poison, driven almost to death. Due to that, his resistance against poison is lowered to an extent. He used the string of his favorite harp, and he flicks off the air by shaking this string, firing what should be called a vacuum arrow. Because the velocity of the arrow, the bow’s angle adjustments, and above all, the loading speed of its arrows are all unusual, it is almost impossible to avoid the entire bullet, no matter how fast the hero is that excels in speed. It seems that the only ways for one to oppose this is by jumping dimensions, move one’s body outside of its range, and so forth. For the different ways to use this string, Tristan can take up tactics such as tearing up, slicing up and tying down the opponent. Furthermore, if there is a location that is an obstacle, such as a forest, etc., he can insert traps like "foot entanglements (snares)", and so forth. The instant a foot takes one step onto the mysterious vacuum trap that was laying there, the enemy floats into midair and is chopped up into pieces. To have the Mage’s Association burn down to the ground as a payback for their crimes. Personality Slightly brash and a tad bit irritable, is almost the contrary of what you’d expect of someone who has grown in a village who has been isolated for the world for ages. However, even if she’s a headstrong and stubborn type, she doesn’t tend to fall for provocation by others but rather to her own conviction that whatever course of action she comes up with is usually the best one. In fact, it’s because of this very reason that she travelled halfway across the world, to Paris, while having little to no knowledge about the modern world and speaking only what amounts to a very outdated Arabic-based dialect. Bio: Madhisi was a priestess of an ancient Pre-Islamic (potentially even Sumerian) religion, and one of the daughters of the chief of a village that remained isolated in the mountains of modern day Iraq for several hundreds of years, subsisting of the same basic life style that the people of the Middle East used for millennia. Save for the relative rare times when one of theirs went down the mountains to trade with the people of the slightly less isolated villages that dot the harsh expanses of that region, no one who was born there has ever left. The only reason she ever did so, is because her whole community was exterminated after they showed their hospitality to a man that one of theirs found nearly dying in the desert. As it turned out, such man had been branded as a heretic by the Mages Association and was on the run from them. When they finally caught up to him, their enforcers destroyed not only their target but also any witnesses, in other words, Mardhisi’s whole village. She only survived because she was away from the village at the time, getting water from a distant spring. When she heard about what happened from the mouth of her dying father, she swore that she would get revenge even if it was the last thing she did in her life. For this purpose, she followed one of the Enforcers’ trails all the way to Paris, disposed of them and, in a stroke of luck, acquired a catalyst that would allow her to take part in the Holy Grail War. A once in a lifetime chance to do get what she has been seeking to. As a practitioner of a tradition based on ancient Middle Eastern magecraft, Madhisi is familiar with magecraft relating to the creation and shaping of clay, including the ability to animate familiars made of the substance, similar to the golems of the followers of the Kabbalah tradition. Finally, she’s also very knowledgeable about Middle Eastern Curses, especially those related to mythical spirits of the desert like djinn and sphinxes. This includes curses to either ward against or further expose someone to the effects of harsh weather, cause one to either lose or find their way, coat weapons in a poison that will cause wounds that won't heal naturally and curses that cause hallucinations and general poltergeist-like phenomena and either cleanse food and water or turn them into poison. Crest: N/A. While her family, or rather, clan has practiced magecraft for several generations, they don’t make use of Crests like more traditional European families. Weapons: -- A talisman offering protection from wind. An indispensable trinket for those who live in the harsh lands of the Middle East. -- Roughly 100kg of clay enchanted with both weight and volume reduction magic which allow them to be carried in a brass tube blueprint/poster tube (around the same volume as a common suitcase) slung over her shoulder. -- Seven ancient, cursed gold coins which belonged to a djinni’s treasure. They can hypnotize anyone who they are given to, allowing for Madhisi to control them trough simple orders. The curse into them isn't anything exceptional, so anyone with at least basic knowledge about magecraft should be able to reject its effects.
Exceptional Benefit: -- Extra preparation time used to secure a workshop in the basement of a semi-abandoned building which is inhabited by a few other homeless people. With it, she can begin the process of producing familiars, with at least one golem ready for deployment by the time the HGW is set to begin.
