Dean is notably tall and gangly in frame standing at 6'6, although he manages to carry himself with arrogant grace (heavily practiced as a teenager) as opposed to an awkward hunched gait. Obsessively formal, he can usually be found in any number of expensive suits, and this carries over to his villain costume.

The costume consists of a nice grey suit, white feathers extending like collars from the ends of the sleeves, and like a ruffel around the neck. As to be expected with a villain, there is a mask involved - his is black and elongated with tinted eyepieces, resembling the face of a raven. It does not cover his hair. He may also complete the whole ensemble with a top hat - if he wants to seem particularly memorable.

[Color=SlateGray][b]Villain Name:[/b][/color] Corvus - perhaps inappropriate considering it is not just crows and ravens that he can manipulate, but to him it sounded like the best name, the one that filled him with the most arrogance while speaking it out loud.

[Color=SlateGray][b]Quirk Description:[/b][/color] Dean can emit waves at a certain frequency from his brain which only affect birds. These waves then suspend the birds' autonomy and allows him to take control of their actions, guiding them to attack, to distract, or if there are enough, into large swarms. 

There's also a secondary aspect which allows him to see through the eyes of a bird he is controlling if he desires to do so, as well as being able to hear. However, when doing this he loses sight or hearing in his own body, which can provide a massive weakness. 

Dean's range of which he can use this quirk safely is a radius of around the length of a typical NFL field, so around 90-100 metres. Any more and there can be serious side effects - such as splitting headaches, nosebleeds, dizziness and similar conditions. This range has been expanded with practice, but as of now that's the maximum he can go without seriously damaging himself. 

[Color=SlateGray][b]Inventory & Possessions:[/b][/color] -Dean took over his parent's house a long time ago. A fairly sized estate, it allows him to use it as a base of operations - even if does have to keep a low profile there as officially, the property is abandoned
-Dean has a collection of 15 ravens located at his manor. As they have been exposed to him for so long they are much easier to control, and so are the most commonly used in his criminal activities - a private gang, if you will. He will usually tie some form of razor or dagger to their talons before he takes them our for use.
-A large collection of formal suits and clothes. Most of them are robbed, the others either bought or inherited. This includes his self fashioned villain costume. 
-A surprising lack of money for someone who tries gives off a veneer of being wealthy - most of it was taken or destroyed in the conflict with his parents.


[Color=SlateGray][b]Sample Post:[/b][/color] When a British car tycoon decides to upend from his busy London life and marry an similarly wealthy American woman from Northern California, the child of that circumstance is likely to grow up privileged. Such is exactly what happened with Dean. From an early age he was implicitly encouraged to look down on those who were less fortunate than he was, both by his peers and his family. Attending an extremely exclusive boarding school with an unhealthy obsession with manners and formality didn't help. 

The manifestation of quirks was an exciting time for the children of that school. While his was not necessarily powerful, he could easily impress his peers with pigeons doing pirouettes in the air and sparrows flying into the messy hair of a girl who was picked on simply because she was slightly poorer than the children around her. Dean's prejudiced attitudes were firmly cemented here. Even when the attitudes of his peers and friends became more progressive, he stood firm, trying to lead the younger students into his ideology instead. 

It was his parents change in attitude that had the largest toll, however, and when it became fashionable to be charitable, Mr and Mrs Allen followed suit. They began to donate sums of their money to charity, which drove Dean up the wall to no end. However, it was their decision to move him to a certain school which turned everything to fire. That school was, of course, UJ. As he was forced into the hero course, saw things that disgusted him - in his view, a celebration of mediocrity, a complete lack of any manners or formality, and above all, encouragement to aid the inferior in being inferior. He was felt that he was marked as the "rich boy" and made into a social pariah, in his view because of jealousy - but it was because of he would launch into outspoken scathing insults to most everyone he met. It's an understatement to say he did not do very well on any of the courses at UJ. 

Soon enough, constant niggling clashes with his parents boiled over. He was 18. Of course, he wanted to go to only the most prestigious university. But his parents didn’t want him to - that wasn't charitable. They wanted him to be a hero, to keep trying. As the fight continued, Dean demanded that they leave. This was his house now. They didn't deserve it. His parents never used their quirks very often, and a knifed talon to the neck can be persuasive. They left, but in a fit of petty rage, they took half the money from the safe and burned the rest. This sealed Dean's disillusionment with the system. Those who did not respect their superiority or inferiority did not deserve anything but retribution. 

Heroes of course represented the very opposite of this concept. Helping people who could not help themselves. The superior negating their strength by assisting the inferior. Dean left his house for a while and travelled around the country, watching various heroes at work and conversing with other villains. By the time that he had returned to back to his abandoned manor in San Francisco, with 7 new ravens on his person, there was no going back. And to his local branch of the League of Villains he went.
