IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!

The I.D. chips have a tracking feature. And while the Peacekeepers don't use it or pay much attention to you when you're inside a Compound, as you've been "neutralized" and no longer pose a threat in their eyes, you can rest assured that they will use that chips tracking feature to hunt you down should you leave the Compound without permission or attempt to escape while being escorted throughout the city. As such, it's best to get the chips removed ASAP, if you want to move about with some amount of freedom.
