Penelope said a word of goodbye to Olivia and Gavin as they exited the tent. Feeling Crow press a kiss to her cheek, she smiled and looked over at the thief as he spoke. It was true that the trip was going rather well. Actually it was going better than even she predicted. Things had gone well with both of their friends, dealing with the knights had been relatively easy, she had gained permission to leave with him from Mia—as well as her support to end the war—and she had gotten to do all of that while having a great deal of alone time with him in between. "It's certainly one of the better trips we've taken." She mused in agreement, flashing him a warm smile. Feeling a burst of affection for the thief, she leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips. Despite the risk of being in the middle of the battalion's camp, the knight lingered for a moment longer, even moving to rest a hand against his cheek. Eventually, she pulled back and gave him a small smile. As much as she wished she could stay the whole night with the thief, she knew she had to get going to her own tent. The last three days had really spoiled her in being able to fall asleep and wake up besides him. "Unfortunately, now comes the less enjoyable part since I can't stay here with you tonight." she sighed and touched a kiss to his cheek before moving to stand up. "My tent's five down from yours just in case you need anything."
