Personality: Sylvester is a quiet man who prefers to keep to himself instead of interacting with others. He isn’t one to trust easily, due to events earlier in his life that were ultimately irrelevant and aren’t worth bringing up. When it comes to trusting others, he prefers to take as long as possible to build a trustworthy relationship with his potential partners.

He doesn’t particularly care about the opinions of other magi, considering the majority of them are just privileged rich kids who can’t back up their words.

Bio: Sylvester’s backstory isn’t particularly noteworthy, he was born to a pair of second-generation Magi and neither of them really practiced magecraft. He was the first in their family to pursue magecraft somewhat seriously, even then he’d prefer to just laze away in his office.

Shortly after he finished studying at the Clock Tower, he decided to set up shop in a small town just off the coast of southern France called Aix-en-Provence. He didn’t choose it over some minute detail related to magecraft, he merely chose it because it was small. 

His decision to join the Holy Grail War was based on both of his parents coaxing him into it, saying “it will be a good learning experience” or something similar.

Magecraft: Even if Sylvester is talented at magecraft, he tends to bite his tongue if he panics on the incantation. This has lead him to many hilarious situations during his stay at the Clock Tower and on his own time.

Due to him biting his tongue during incantations, he prefers to utilize magecraft that avoids saying them all together. Why would he risk screwing up something that could potentially kill him?

When it comes to Bounded Fields, he is completely clueless on how to use them because he ended up skipping out on those classes, and subsequently getting yelled at by his teacher.

He carries around a fox-like creature as his familiar, while he could've expanded upon it, he chose not to.

Weapon: He possesses a few Mystic Codes, but he chose to leave them at his house in Aix-en-Provence because half the time they blow up in his face and a quarter of the time don’t work.
