Penelope slipped her arms around him, returning his embrace as he held her close. She smiled at him and leaned in to meet his lips as he kissed her one more time. As he pulled back, she let out a small sigh, feeling reluctant to leave. However, with no other choice, she returned his smile and took a step back as well. "Goodnight. I love you too." She turned and headed out of the tent. As she stepped back outside, she swept her gaze briefly over the area, pleased to notice no one seemed to be hovering near the tent, and began her short walk to her own tent. It was a bit strange to think that it'd be her last time using it for at least two months—if not longer or the last if she was successful in her efforts to end the war. The knight barely dwelled on it though as she was rather tired and ready to lay down for the night Penelope let out a large yawn, feeling her weariness sink in fully as she stepped inside. She wasted no time in slipping out of her armor and boots, laying them down besides her bed. The knight laid down and pulled the blanket over herself as she shifted to get comfortable in her bed. Despite her tiredness, she found it a bit difficult to fall asleep without the warm presence of Crow besides her. Though it had only been a few days, sleeping next to him had already begun to feel routine. Letting out a sigh, she turned over onto her side and closed her eyes tightly. Eventually the knight drifted off into a sound slumber after a bit of effort.
