- Val can use explosives bursts of air as a boost to her running and/or jumping.
- She can use air as a means of attack, e.g. knocking down or pushing back someone with a gust of wind, sending condensed balls (like paintballs) or streams of air (similar to a water cannon) at a target.
- She can extend the range of her regular physical attack with razor-sharp wind slashes.
- Nick can literally punch the air out of a person to make them dizzy or even knock them unconscious. She doesn't know if suffocating anyone to death is possible.

Valeria stands at 5'7, and though she exercises daily, she's slim and doesn't seem to have much of a muscle definition. Her natural complexion is a light ivory one, but she's spent enough of her life outside that she has an almost permanent beige tan. Her eyes are a very bright hazel, sometimes seeming an almost amber hue. Her hair is naturally a mouse brown, but she bleaches it to pale blond and styles it in a pixie-cut. She usually dresses in a punk, punk rock, or skater-esque fashion, and she may put anything from none to heavy makeup depending on the situation. As a rule, however, she tends toward footwear that's comfortable to wear and easy to run in, and even to a club she's likelier to put on flat sandals than anything high-heeled. She has one silver and three black earrings on her left ear, as well as two silver and one black earrings on her right one. Nicole often wears some type of a choker combined with a necklace, though she removes all jewelry for physical activities.

Valeria is an adventurous, confident, and fairly outgoing person. She enjoys roaming the city, discovering niche locations, or spending time at the favourite park or rooftop. As much as she's fond of hanging out with others, she's content to do her own thing just as well. Though she considers herself to be generally amicable, and makes acquaintances and even friends relatively easily, there are very few people she actually feels close to. She loves teasing people and flirting with others, and if she can somehow combine the two, well, there's hardly anything more she could ask for. As a result, though, she may come across as too pushy on the on hand, and as dismissive or even apathetic on the other. It's true that Valeria can be quite selfish as she enjoys living life however she pleases and goes along with the directives of others almost exclusively when it serves her own desires or ends, but this is mainly due to an honest, optimistic belief in freedom, self-expression, and the importance of pursuing happiness in life - all of which culminates in what is basically a hedonistic outlook on life.

- As a thrill-seeker, Valeria can become unfocused to an objective once riding the high of adrenaline.
- Her rebel streak may lead her to object to orders or skirt imposed tasks from a superior.
- She leans to a forceful, often destructive use of her powers, but lacks the finesse of control; she's not had enough experience yet for the latter. Meaning, she may cause undesired collateral damage or even harm an ally or a civilian accidentally, if they get too close to her in the middle of a fight when she doesn't expect them there.
- She cannot change the composition and chemistry of the atmosphere, she can only move air around. This means higher altitudes affect her the same they would anyone else, and though she could call a bubble of air to her up to 30 meters below water, drowning and the risks of high pressure would be a definite danger.
- Continual use of her power (e.g. directing a "stream" of air for more than a couple of minutes or creating and maintaining even a small whirlwind), while doable, is something that she finds extremely hard to accomplish currently.
 
  
  [color=#FA8746][b]Brief History:[/b][/color]
Born to María José Estrada Alvarez-Knight and Julian Nelson Knight, Valeria Nicole is the older of the two children her parents had, her younger sibling a male by the name of Isaac Juan. Though she and her brother were well-loved, their parents often quarreled due to work related matters (and some others, but these were issues neither Valeria nor Isaac were much privy to), and they eventually divorced. María and Julian still kept in contact, but Valeria continued living with her father and visited her mother only occasionally, while María took Isaac with her. As a result, Val isn't as close to her brother as she may have otherwise been, though she doubtlessly loves him, and he her. After the divorce, her father seemed to grow ever busier with his work, and no longer under the stricter purview of her mother, Nicole was often left to her own devices, free to go and remain outside - and she did, skate parks becoming one of her favoured locations, as well as being essential for her to practice several of her hobbies. That's where she'd met her first boyfriend, Shun Lang, though after three years of dating, she eventually left him as he became too involved with one of the local gangs, and the growing criminal activities weren't to her taste; though she had admittedly enjoyed defacing walls or even burning a trashcan here and there in the beginning, harsher vandalism and violence were over the line as far as she was concerned. After her breakup, she hasn't had a serious relationship ever since, though she's fooled around plenty, content with casual relationships of that nature even to this day. She's kept her love for parkour and rollerblading, and those activities even aspired her to work her ass off to be able to study physical therapy at a college after an incident where a friend of hers (Alicia Sanders) suffered a badly broken leg. Three years into her busy student life, however, she was afflicted with a mysterious tattoo appearing out of nowhere, with some sick new powers to go alongside. Less stellar was the kidnapping scheme she was subjected to shortly after, the spiriting-away committed by an organization claiming her as some sort of a...hero. She's still mighty miffed about that.
