[center]The Safe Haven – an educational institution and home to youth revealed to possess strange, supernatural abilities. The Haven is a seemingly impenetrable fortress, as if watched over by an unseen force, and has offered refuge to young mutants facing rejection from society for as long as anyone can remember. With science failing to explain the phenomenon of gifted humans, many of the Haven’s staff and students have attempted to find the answer. Theories of the existence of an alternate reality, or a realm apart from the one of humans have been discussed, with mutants being the result of fragments of this other reality crossing over to the human world. Perhaps in due time, will the truth be revealed to humanity.[/center]

This is the revival of a year-dead RP (credit to the original GMs who have presumably left) with players who wish to return to the concept. This will not exactly be a fresh start, so whatever has happened in the 1st Act in the previous thread will be remembered by then-existing characters that are brought over to this one.
