Begrudgingly opening his eyes, and rolling out of bed. "Wanda, its time to get up." He said as he rolled out of bed. Basically, just falling, face down onto the ground. Just before he hit the ground, his fall slowed to a halt. Before he was gently placed on the ground. "Your getting slow." He said as he stood up. Sighing, he stretched out. With a flourish of his fingers, the wand that was sitting on his bedside table flew into his hand. He gently waved the wand around his face. As he did, the dark crystal end of the wand began to glow softly. As he passed the wand over the lover half of his face, the stubble that had grown overnight simply fell out. Energy washed over him, cleaning him. By passing the wand over his hair, it pushed his hair back, styling it. It was a simple spell he had learned before his time at Raindale. A spell to help get ready for the day, without having to spend time in the shower. He typically slept in little more than just underpants, which he changed before putting on a pair of jeans. Coupled with a grey shirt that said 'Give the Gift of Life, Be a Necromancer.' Maxwell Johnston tucked the wand up behind his ear, like a pencil. He tapped the base of the wand. "Wanda, lets dance.". With that, a chartreuse energy tendril encircled his head. Fading into invisibility. What happened next was a little strange, but it was part of how he got ready in the morning. The Dolly Parton song, '9 to 5' played around Maxwell. He took the wand out from behind his ear and waved it in front of his throat. a glowing symbol superimposed itself on his throat. It was there for about a second before fading. Maxwell started moving to the beat. Singing along to the eighties song. as he moved around his cubical getting his stuff ready for the day. Around halfway through the song, he left his cubical, and started dancing through the dorm room, and out towards cafeteria. Singing and dancing the whole way there. By the time he made it to the cafeteria, the song had ended, and Maxwell had returned his wand to its resting place behind his ear. As he walked in, he had a smile on his face. "Your getting better, Wanda." He complimented his familiar as he looked for a place to sit. Figuring he should get some food before it is all gone, he grabbed a plate and got the last of the eggs. It was a shame he had shown up late and made a point to make sure he was going to be their faster next time. Turning back, he decided to take a seat with Imani and Jo. Sliding, rather graciously, he thought, into a seat at their table, he placed his plate on the table. "Morning Ladies. I didn't steal someone's spot, did I?"
