Standing at 5'3" and seemingly delicate as can be, when she isn't doing strenuous activity, which is over half of her time, she accentuates her feminine features, which can be misleading when people don't know her personality. Think chic casual. Exhibit A and B. She has a variety of jumpsuits for when she works in the workshop (yeah, yeah like a mechanic) and as for outdoor and physical activity, she has active wear – duh! Aside from that, Phoebe is well aware that she's an attractive girl. It is extremely out of character for her not to care about everything that goes into her life, including her looks. Of course, looks can be deceiving and this demigod isn't a woman you want to try - in pants or in a skirt.
[sub]Personality[/sub] Quick-witted ✢ Sarcastic ✢ Analytical ✢ Chaotically organized ✢ Innovative ✢ Fierce ✢ Difficult
Independent and ruthlessly herself, Phoebe does not rely on others for assistance. Call it pride or pigheadedness, she knows that many people will underestimate her due to preconceptions the other Olympian gods hold towards her father. He's the 'lame' god because he isn't flawlessly gorgeous and is definitely not a fighter, or even showy in his powers. He uses cleverness of creation to fight his battles for him, which could be seen as cowardice in some people's eyes, but to her, that skill is incredibly awe-inspiring. Her father does not need a lightening bolt or a pretty face to show his worth. His worth is in his mind, his hands, and his heart. For a woman with a frustrating past where people dictated her life, Phoebe is strong-willed, outspoken, and genuinely honest, aside from the lies she spewed to keep her family in the dark that she is in fact a demigod. She does not blame anyone for the way she is and chooses to own her attitude, even if at times it rubs others off the wrong way. If she comes across as cruel, it's only because someone needs to be rational in heightening situations where reason is needed. Aside from the creeping anger issues she sedates (or y'know, breaks things to let off steam), she has taught herself to remove emotion when it comes to making decisions, allowing her to think of necessity over anything else. Although she favors her alone time, not someone burden with loneliness or a desire for a companion, sexually or not, she does enjoy observing her peers and how different they are to her. There are times where she finds herself envious of them because they simply enjoy life. Here she finds herself restless and constantly seeking solutions to problems, despite the fact that some solutions are only temporary and can have unfortunate, long-term consequences. A curse or a blessing, Phoebe is far too busy thinking of everything she needs to do. She needs to sketch a battle axe, an amulet, a gauntlet, and much more so that she can replicate it at the workshop. She needs to study the mountains and mountains of books in the library that go from lore of Olympus to every material possible that can be infused with an item. She needs to spew all the racing thoughts on a piece of paper so her head doesn't explode. She needs to keep up with her body so she can compete in the league of her peers destined to be warriors. She needs to be the best. Her priority is to train her mind, body, and spirit. If she wants to one, create legendary weapons like her father, and two, be able to wield them and fight her own battles, commitment is key and she can't afford to get distracted. Phoebe believes that each of her peers, as well as herself, have been dealt different hands, some more advantageous than others, but in her belief it doesn't matter if they draw dead or have a royal flush. What matters is the strategy. Who knows? Maybe you'll cause a bad beat. If you don't know her now, you'll know her soon enough. Perseverance and endurance are Phoebe's strongest traits, and she will use that as her foundation to become a demigod worth remembering.
[sub]History[/sub]

Phoebe Masterson never met her biological mother. She went by the name of Eva Masterson. From the stories told to her everyday, Eva was an extraordinary woman, who made herself known as someone that actively helped the broken, the beaten, and the damned. She was selfless and gave all her past pain and suffering meaning. She pursued a cause of saving lost souls and giving them purpose, constantly traveling and changing their lives for the better. A magnanimous soul. Of course, this was all told to her from word of mouth. When she was only four years old, there was a great fire and she lost her mother, her brother, and her step-father. She doesn't remember the faces of the men that once were in her life, and for some reason, there is only memorabilia of Eva in her guardian's household. Two days after the fire, Phoebe was found in the nearby wood curled up, waiting for death to come for her. Her mother's sister, Sybil Whitshire, found and adopted her, telling her that her mother past away and that her father, and brother, disappeared, leaving her behind. When one is only a child, they will listen. Truth be told, Phoebe was caught in a web of lies due to the disdain the Whitshires had toward the Mastersons. Phoebe might not even be her birth name, but she wouldn't know. She wouldn't know the lengths the Whitshires went to cause her step father and brother to flee, believing they lost everything. When really, she was close by. At least her aunt had the heart to let her keep her surname. All Phoebe remembers is images of a house burning from her past. Fire would become her impetus, soon enough, she just didn't know yet. Growing up, she showed prodigal intelligence and her new family took advantage of that gift. They showcased her and her achievements as if her being the way she was, was because of them. The way they treated her caused her to want to defy them. And she did. This is when she found a new side in her that she didn't know she had. She had the ability to produce fire. Not like an illusion, like magicians do, but actual fire. This was remarkable to her and she wanted to learn how to control it. With the growing inferno inside her, her anger multiplied. Something told her they weren't to be trusted and it was only a matter of time that her aunt became concerned that she was a pyromaniac. None of them bare witnessed to her causing fires and they would always try to find the source. Things got out of hand and just when they were ready to send Phoebe to juvie at age fifteen, she was visited at night by her biological father and he told her she must correct her ways if she wants to achieve greatness. For a teenager, she wanted to call bullshit. Her father CANNOT be a GOD. But he proved her wrong, by making sense of the strange occurrences of her life and more importantly, he talked about her family and that her brother was still out there. He, motherfucking Hephaestus, however, would not help her seek him out, if she doesn't optimize her abilities. That of being his daughter, and that of being a human. Sure, she could always journey on her own to find her brother, but that would intervene with the plans he had and therefore force him to hinder her search. He might be a benevolent god, but he is still her father and will not permit his daughter to set the world on fire. She was his responsibility. After this fateful conversation, Phoebe 'cleaned' up her act and played the role of the perfect overachiever. Then the time came around where she had to choose a university, which her father was more than happy to tell her where she HAD to go. So, with her own web of lies, she convinced her aunt to let her go to the Colorado Rockies, where a school for exceptionally gifted people waited for her. God of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges, and the art of sculpture. Patron of the arts. Kind and peace-loving god. Son of Zeus and Hera, married to Aphrodite. Smithing god, who made all the weapons for Olympus. The only ugly god among perfectly beautiful immortals. He was a workman of the immortals, having made their dwellings, furnishings, and weapons. Arguably, the most extraordinary member of the Olympian Pantheon. Symbolism: Hammer, an anvil, and tongs.
[sub]Relationship With Godly Parent[/sub]
He's only been in her life for what? Four years? And she's had a handful of conversations with him, where he scolds her and tells her to do better. The first conversation will always be the best because that was where he laid his heart out for her and showed the adoration he had, still has, for her mother, as well as her. In a short span, she has grown admiration at the idea of having a godly father figure and holds Hephaestus on a pedestal. That being said, he never does come to her when she calls for him. He only visits when he thinks it's necessary. Regardless, she still loves him and although the original deal was for her to polish her skills and in return, he'd help find her brother...she has long forgotten that desire of seeking her family. Currently, she obsessively tries to make strides as the daughter of Hephaestus.
[sub]Demigod Abilities[/sub]
Relentless Bitch | Phoebe needs the most control over her pyrokinesis. She is capable of generating the element of fire, using her own energy, but if she doesn't want to weaken her finesse (possibly overexerting herself to the point where she collapses and can't move), she can manipulate flame around her. The greatest source being the sun. Unfortunately, she isn't as immune to fire as her demigod brother is. The only reason she isn't burnt as easily is because working at a forge and around fire so much hardens the skin and makes your body acclimate to the heat, but... that's only resistance and not immunity. Every move she makes requires critical thinking, wisdom, and utmost precision. Most importantly, though? She has to trust her intuition. The moment she doubts herself a volcanic disaster can and will erupt. She believes to use this ability well, she should utilize different fighting techniques. That way she can augment her flame to damage like a weapon, whether it be piercing, slashing, or bludgeoning. She isn't skilled enough in this ability to even entertain the idea of mass/area damage. Forgemaster-in-training | Within her soul, there is the ability to craft tools for celestial beings, like her father. But, because she doesn't encompass magic fully, like a Hecate child would, she still requires the appropriate tools and materials to craft, a safe space that can handle potential accidents, and advanced knowledge on craftsmanship. There are ways to conjure magic into an item but that comes with a price. While her knowledge on magical items is limited, she does have an innate ability of caring for weapons and armory, as old fashioned as that may sound. During her free time she does do maintenance, as well as sharpens and polishes weapons. Eventually, she does aim to make weapons bonded for certain individuals. For now, she will keep working on her skills, making weapons that may never be used by anyone but herself, and continue to learn the magical properties required to become a celestial forgemaster. Word to the Wise | Looking into fire, Phoebe is able to gain divine inspiration from it. She can speak to the fire and obtain selective insight. Fire becomes her spiritual guide as she continues to learn her father's ways. More often than not, she asks to have access to Hephaestus' notes, like the process on how he created each and every single legendary item. She, however, isn't at that level of expertise yet and can only look at the madman's scribbles in appreciation. This ability requires time and concentration. Binding Devotion | Phoebe isn't aware of this ability but because of her father's strong bonds with the other gods he CHOSE to be their smith and artisan. He grew personal strength with those he felt devoted to. The more emotionally attached Phoebe is with someone, the stronger the flame. This could be in regards to making items, as well as harnessing her fire abilities. As much as she'd like to devoid all emotion, emotion is essential in the might of her power. The greatest thing she'll ever learn is how the strings people have with others ignite the fire within their souls. Learning that will make her level up in ways that only her father can imagine.
