Blair Price - Unlimited
Vibrant red. No better colour for a hero to wear. Bright like a fire truck, an emergency vehicle. The lightweight full body armour lacked bulk, while the white pants and coat added that bit of heroic flair. Running her hand over the smooth helmet, Blair walked towards the training ground, every hero dashing off to perform mighty acts of heroism. Blair knelt and smacked the bottoms of her shoes, taking care to use as little force as needed before she took a speed skater’s pose. Shooting off, her feet moved as if she was skating on ice and she quickly built momentum. Streaking into the city, Blair slid into an alleyway and saw a ‘mugger’ along with ‘small child’ and ‘mother’ styled mannequin robot… things. Crouching as she flew towards the mugger, Blair stuck out her arm before standing as she clotheslined the mugger. Momentum and force causing the mugger to be carried away on an armoured arm, while the machine was rendered frictionless due to the impact. Not stopping, Blair watched over her shoulder as the robot flailed on the ground like a turtle on its back while skidding off into the street, pinwheeling in a rather comical fashion. “Okay, so that’s two civilians rescued, and one mugger incapacitated.” Putting a hand to the ground the armoured fingers sparked slightly as she made a tight turn and moved deeper into the city, reasoning that most of the students would just be entering from the one side and taking on all incidents as they found them. That still left an entire mock city’s worth of disasters and crimes occurring. “Feels like letting the rest of the city go to hell in a hand-basket would be a fail conditi-” as she raced past a she saw what looked like a school bus planted in the side of a building. Screeching to a halt, Blair used the tips of her shoes to run back and get a proper look. “What the…” the bus, complete with robotic school children crying in their computerized voices, looked as if a giant hand had picked the bus up and stabbed it into the side of what looked like a bakery. The glass façade was oddly intact, the bus having gone through the brick wall instead “Okay, okay… first, don’t move the bus. It might be the only thing keeping the building up right now. Letting the building crush all the school kids and maybe bakers sounds bad.” Going to the front door of the store, Blair tenderly opened it and waited for the creaking to stop before slowly picking up ‘baker’ robots and putting them on the pavement. All the while the thought ‘what do I do about the bus?’ swirled in her head over and over.
