When not pinned and fringed back, her charcoal black hair falls a little under her shoulder blades. Aside from the slits on the sides of her pants that expose her hips, one noticeable thing is that her feet are wrapped. She refuses to wear shoes as she follows an old tradition of "Grounding" to better understand and feel her environment. This also aides in reputation in being of the more stealthy and silent kunoichi. Constantly attatched to her are her twin blades; if they are not in her hands they are strapped to her back. ⒈ [sub]The day did not smile upon the birth of Amaya - but her Clan found no ominous meaning behind the rain and thunder. As to them, and Amegakure, it was only but a regular day. The Sasaki Clan for generations has inhabited the Amegakure Temple and been seen as its keepers. This Clan is known specifically for the brutal treatment the youth receive during their training before, during and sometimes even after the Academy. It is believed by the Clan though, that in order to be strong physically - you must also show you are mentally strong. So meditation is taught at an early age, and pressed throughout the remainder of the years. This would be Amaya's childhood. As soon as she was able to run and form a few sentences - her mornings and afternoons would consist of meditation and chants. Of course this is not exactly what any child wants to do, sit still for hours on end and try to delve into their mind. But a slap on the wrists or back of the head would keep a child in place once they believed they were doing something wrong. It was a herd mentality - some would say. The youth of the Sasaki Clan just followed whatever the elders did blindly since they were not exposed to much else in the world. Sitting sidelines and watching them talk and "heal" Villagers. They were known for keeping a mist in certain halls and rooms that had a calming effect over those that visited - this would later be taught to Amaya after she developed Boil Release. [/sub]
⒉ [sub]Growing up in a constant routine caused Amaya to crave something different, and around the age of 8 she would soon get just what she wished for. There was one morning where she and the other 3 kids her age didn't do their afternoon meditation; instead they were brought to a room they'd never seen before. Here there were clansmen training with Elders, or each other. The age range was pretty wide and so were Amaya's eyes. Immediately she listened to everything their Elder was saying to them - he basically told them they had two options in this Clan "Stay and reside in the Temple, giving peace to the ill minds that walk in....or you can enter the Academy. Do know, that this path is not for everyone..". She didn't care. Amaya knew in her heart that she could do this, and didn't want to end up as a Temple Maiden. Sure meditation was nice, but her soul craved something else. She didn't feel complete just sitting around the Temple.[/sub]
⒊ [sub]The week after she vocalized her interest in Amaya had a new routine in her Temple life. Wake up, eat breakfast, meditate, practice/read scripture, light training before lunch, lunch and then training until dinner time where she would end her day with stretching. Then it was back at it again for years until her entrance to the Academy. At first she wasn't looked to keenly upon by the Elders of her Clans - the training was pretty rigorous. But the more she became accustomed to it, the easier her days became and she started to shine through. Even beginning to beat some of the children that were a few years older than her in quick spars after lunch. The Academy was a different beast to conquer for Amaya - she had no idea how to really connect with any of the other students there. All she'd known was her fellow Clansmen and they're talks were either on Spirituality, Enlightenment, Chakra Control, or even gossip. But that was with the kids around her age. She came to realized that not everyone in the Academy cared to talk on these things, and that Temple life really narrowed her experiences down. Though she made a few friends, she typically was quiet and reserved.  [/sub]
⒋ [sub]Growing through the Academy, Amaya came to realize that she was blessed with Katon Release, much later learning that Suiton came pretty easily to her. So it was almost no surprise to her Elders at the Temple that she too carried the Clans Kekkai Genki. Futton Release. Once this was discovered, which was near the end of her Academy days, her training wouldn't stop just at the Academy. Amaya soon would be passed on the secrets of the Clan. It would also be around the time of her entrance into the Academy that Amaya would experiment with weapons at the Temple, finding comfort in that of two twin blades which she would practice with outside the Academy walls. They would be gifted to her the day she graduated.  [/sub]
⒌ [sub]Today, Amaya is looking forward to guiding her own Team. After her Graduation from the Academy, Amaya quickly sailed through the ranks and became known for her stealth. Eventually earning the nickname "Enenra", this deriving from a creature of mythology that resides in Bonfires/mist/smoke and once they emerge take human form. Amaya relies heavily on her Boil Release when she is on stealth missions, and over the years of training without shoes she has become as light as a cat on her feet. She is proud of the reputation that proceeds her, and is even more ecstatic that her Clans name is now known for producing a skilled Jonin, instead of just pumping out Shrine Keepers, Priests and Priestess'. The Steam reacts with the Powder in her hand and shoots directly at her opponents. Upon inhalation the oppose will immediately become drowsy and typically fall into a deep sleep. It usually lasts from 15 to 30 minutes, depending how much was inhaled.[/indent]

They are about the length of her elbow to the tip of her fingers - and have been used in conjunction with some of her techniques. But mainly she uses this to fight with on their own.
