Most members of the Mitsushina clan all have dark or brunette hair that normally is straight and spiky, and their most recognizable traits are their tattoos that are utilized for their Hiden techniques. Suko's hair is a raven black color that falls a little past his his eye-level. His eyes are a pale green and his face is relatively average. All Mitsushina shinobi pierce their ears when they become genin as a rite of passage, so Suko sports a black gage in each ear. Suko has a variety of black ink tattoos that cover parts of his back, chest, and arms. Born to Tanji and Nishioka, Suko was lucky enough to have an incredibly supportive family. Tanji, Suko's father, is the newest leader of the clan and his mother is the owner of Saito No Kareraisu, a popular restaurant in the village. One that boasts the best curry rice and shabu-shabu in all the Land of Fire. Now whether or not that's true is up to those who eat there, but Suko has yet to find a better cook than his mother (biased much?). Suko has a younger sister, an eight-year-old little demon named Fumika. Growing up was an interesting experience for Suko because he got to see different lifestyles modeled by his parents. At a young age, Tanji was prepared to start prepping Suko to be the heir of the Matsushina clan. And though his father is a rather amicable guy, he tends to get stuck in his ways and decisions. Not wanting her son to be coerced into one way of living, Nishioka set out to show him other paths he could take in the future. This led to most of Suko's childhood being split between training with his father, and helping his mother with work at the restaurant. Training with his father seemed to be a different adventure every day. Tanji would try and make his lessons as engaging as possible, slipping in life lessons with a simple game of shogi, or having him shadow a negotiation with another clan, things of that nature. Then of course there was the real training, the type that left him sore and bruised the next morning. Tanji used to always say that Suko wouldn't become a strong shinobi until he had cried, sweated, or beaten out all the weakness inside of him. So needless to say, being the young heir of Matsushina wasn't a walk in the park. But the lessons made him stronger, regardless of how ethical they were. They made Suko colder too, more desensitized. It was around this time where his innocence slowly started to disappear, after all, his father expected him to act a certain way, to [i]be[/i] a certain kind of "man," even though he hadn't even reached his teens yet. The brief respites Suko got from his father's demands usually came from his mother, who would seemingly ask him to help her at the restaurant whenever he was at his lowest. Helping out at Saito was really fun for Suko, only because he has a knack for customer service. Spending time with his mother was more laid-back than being around his father, she taught him how to be an actual person instead of a warrior. Working at Saito gave Suko the opportunity to become a more social and friendly person, especially with people that went to the academy with him. Saito become a place to eat food and hang out with friends, a much needed pass time for Suko. As Suko came closer to graduating from the academy, Tanji decided it was time to teach him the techniques of the Matsushina clan. It started with the ritual. Suko wasn't told in advance what was in store for him in order to learn the Hiden Techniques of the Matsushina. All he remembers is being restrained by his father and the clan elders, and then, the searing pain came. The jutsu of the Matsushina require tattoos and an understanding of fūinjutsu. The tattoos took all day to create, and most of what Suko remembers is a scarlet fog of pain clouding everything. At the young age of 13, Suko's innocent nature began to fade. Not only did he become more confident, but it took a lot more stress to make him anxious. He felt that since he could withstand the pain he felt that day, then he could withstand anything. The tattoos also gave him respect within his own clan. When Matsushina members receive their tattoos they are considered to be full-fledged members. After learning the beginner Hiden techniques of the clan, Suko funally began to feel like he was actually making progress towards his dreams. But what were his desires? What were his passions? Subconsciously, Suko wants to please his father, to live up to his expectations. Externally and consciously, Suko will claim that he will be a strong, respected shinobi one day that will lead his clan to the best of his abilities. As the heir to the Matsushina clan, there's plenty of pressure fill a leadership role. At fourteen, Suko acknowledges his naivety and is doing his best to be as open as possible to learning and expanding his skill set. But it's ridiculous to expect to expect a teenager to act like a man, he just doesn't have enough life experience. Having learned through failing often, Suko has embraced the idea of self acceptance and is using this concept to fuel his determination to become a great shinobi and clan leader. It's known that most if not all Matsushina ninja have tattoos covering most of their bodies, and that's because they are a form of fūinjutsu that enhances their combative abilities. The tattoos can be used in two ways, they can be used to seal weapons or they can be used to seal chakra. When weapons are sealed in these tattoos, they can be summoned instantly, allowing the user to draw his weapons faster and catch opponents off-guard. When chakra is put into a seal, it will retain it's potency and original quantity until the seal is reopened. Ha No Yobi is a fighting style that focuses on swiftly utilizing these tattoos to either increase the user's taijutsu: by flooding their chakra pool with chakra that is sealed into one of their tattoos, or enhancing the user's bukijutsu by allowing them to instantly use any weapon they chose to seal into certain tattoos. Ha No Yobi becomes stronger the more tattoos the user has, but the more tattoos that are used, the more skilled the user must be. [/indent] [color=gray]▸[/color] [b]Strengths:[/b][indent]Ha No Yobi is a hiden that is great at applying pressure on opponents for the duration of the fight. With a unique weapon set, this style can catch opponents off guard and wear them down through attrition. It's a fighting style that has to be very aggressive because the idea is to give an opponent zero time to react. If the opponent does manage to get their footing, the idea is to out last them by regenerating their chakra through the seals in their tattoos.[/indent] [color=gray]▸[/color] [b]Weaknesses:[/b][indent]Ha No Yobi works in stages. One must build up the ability to use the Matsushina seals, as they are taxing to use constantly in battle. There's a ratio that the clan members follow to make sure they don't over exert themselves by using too many seals. For every three seals that hold weapons, there can be one seal that stores chakra. Normally, a genin will have four tattoos according to that ratio and each time they rank up they'll normally have added four more tattoos. It's important to note that in order to use his hiden techniques there are certain aspects that need to be prepped. The user has to decide which weapons to store and they also have to decide how much chakra they're going to seal as well. Genin can seal up to one-fourth of their chakra pool into a tattoo, and as they rank up the amount they can seal increases by a fourth until they can seal most of their entire chakra pool into their tattoos.
