Having Zion look at him like that was a bit unsettling, sure Cinder wanted to be helpful but at the same time, the temptation was there. Listening and remembering what the being had said earlier he knew full well that Menace was still out there and a threat to likely everyone which motivated him to protect his loved ones even more now.

Realizing there is a God and in fact female he knew now there was such a being even though he had a hard time believing in it as of one year prior but seeing it was better than being told about it as he would smile hoping to be taken a chance with Zion in a sense to hopefully do a lot of good.
