Name: George "Arend" Lark Age: 27 Race: Human (?) Appearance: He has light brown hair pared with brown reddish irises. His face is ordinary yet somehow charming. He's of medium height and of compact build. He usually wears travelling clothes but occasionally dons a minstrel's hat while performing. Around his neck and under his shirt, he wears a small, red pendant that's shaped like an egg. Imbedded into it are three small slits. It's sealed tightly shut and has never opened as far as he can remember. Status: Travelling alone as a "bard" Background: George was born musical. However, his environment was less than welcoming to his talent. As an orphan, he grew up on the streets and the woods, switching between gathering plants for selling to plucking pockets for robbing. On occasion, he would sing to other orphans, using his eloquence and imagination to extort a little extra coin from their grubby hands. When he was 17, he barely managed to save enough to pull himself out of poverty, allowing him to travel the road. A small quirk of his: He always knew he had a middle name, but he could never remember it. As a result, he gave himself one to fill in the emptiness. Skills: - foraging and cooking. He's gotten quite savvy figuring out what's delicious, abhorrent, and poisonous in food. He also knows their uses beyond cooking. - knives. He's good at throwing knives for killing game. Also, he uses them to dig up various plants. However, swinging is not his forte. - singing and stringing - He's not exactly the best, but it's enough for him to gather enough coin. - agile. You can't exactly travel if you're being mauled by wolves. He can easily scale trees, maybe other things if they got appropriate foot holds. The trick is to grab him before he bolts. He's a terrible combatant, making it easy to keep him.
