Marcus strode forth and made a light and graceful bow to Sasha ([@Amastacia]), saying "- I'm Marcus, a PĂșca of the Seelie Court. Pleasing to meet you, miss," all while glancing over his shoulder in a mix of mild surprise and amusement at how many of his fellow students were leaving the classroom. The energy and rule-bending behaviour of youth was apparently universal to all species. "How come, if I may ask, that you came to attend this school?", directing the question as much to to Jason and Emily ([@Vampiretwilight]), as he did to Sasha- "For my part, I was sent from my clan's freehold in Brittany to tie new contacts for my people. Few of the European Fae remain outside of the British Isles, save for the Leshy in Russia." Of course, most Fae could shapeshift and a fair number of them hid among the human populace, but constant hiding and watchfulness was tiring in the long run, even for beings who did not suffer from disease or old age. Fae who did not stay vigilant could fall for the cold iron of mortal hunters or treacherous Unseelie kin. Hafner's brazen use of sorcery was surprising to him. The Fae made it a habit to keep their magical secrets to themselves and use them sparingly and candidly, but he felt tempted to accompany the troublemakers to the library to learn more.
