As the others came, so tingled Helena's senses. She could sense them approaching one by one, which was a good sign that they weren't affiliated with those Catamount bastards. Part of her was stirred by their movements, enough to tell her that they were there and that they were coming over to their direction.

One mage was dressed entirely in armor; her face covered by her helmet. [i]Does she have something to hide? Another one came and this time it was actually a male for once. And the really beefy, muscly type too. [i]And here I am getting worried this guild would just be a full-on female only guild with only him as the sole male and leader. People would think we're his harem or something,[/i] she thought with a chuckle. At his question whether or not he was late, she replied with a smile, "Nah, you're not. We haven't even started yet."

After him, there came another mage of the male persuasion. Less beefy than before, and more shifty-looking, at least, according to her first impression of him. The way he said that he hoped they weren't all they had certainly didn't help him gain any points with her. [i]I don't trust him. Seems to be the kind of person who would betray us if we're ever at a disadvantage.[/i]

And then, finally, Zane the leader decided to speak.

[i]Well, that was a decent speech,[/i] she thought once it was over. [i]It wasn't that long and it got straight to the point. I'm not sure if I like him telling the others my magic like that though... Well, at least thanks to that, I now know the basics of who these people are that I'm supposed to be working with.[/i]
