With the battle quickly over, everyone moved to carry out their tasks. Trevor and Vi worked on reviving the wounded Pelliper. It was awkward to try and fit the review into the mouth of the bird especially as much of it was carrying an assortment of berries and letters, but whether by accident or perhaps intentionally, the revive ended up shattering into a golden dust in Trevor's hand. The dust was quickly blown away by the wind only for it to suddenly turn back towards the pelliper, causing some of it's wounds to heal with unnatural speed. A few seconds later the pelliper coughed and gagged, but it came back to life. Meanwhile the others went to finish off the murkrows. It was a quick but dirty thing. Lance's blade, as small as it was, struck true into the murkrow. Perhaps thanks to the Celina's song, his death was easy. The pain immediately awoke the murkrow but all he could do was release a shocked gasp, struggle for a few seconds, and then bled out. His body twitched afterwards but soon the murkrow was killed. The same occurred to the murkrow Ravi was in position to slay; all he needed to do was tighten his grip around the murkrow's neck, bite it's throat, or any combination of the two and the bird would die shortly after. Even in his juvenile body, it wasn't hard to kill a sleeping bird. It was then that one of the murkrow began to awaken just in time to see his allies slain. He squawked in fear and fled as fast as he could, seemingly more interested in getting away than fighting. He didn't even go back the same way be came and let the wind carry him as far away as possible. The others were still asleep if only for a few more seconds. As the slaughter continued the pelliper came to. A few berries had fallen out of it's mouth as it was gagging ad with it's feathered wing it picked them back up into it's mouth. The Pelliper looked to the others with a mix of confusion, concern, and hostility, but it could tell that it was saved. The pokemon was cautious but bowed it's head. "T-Thank you. I didn't expect to be saved, especially by such younglings." The Pelliper's voice was surprisingly feminine. "My name is Wendy, a courier. I knew the weather here was going to be bad, but I didn't think there'd be murkrow's here! Honestly surprised they'd risk flying in this weather." Wendy looked around at the gathered pokemon and seemed concerned, especially with the ones killing the sleeping Murkrow. She didn't seem particularly disgusted at the act so much as concerned about the ones doing it. "Where's your parents? Guardians? Did you all get stuck here before the flood started?"
