Kijani followed him to the parking lot. His car was nothing to marvel over, but then, it was a lot more vehicle than she had. She really needed to get her license one of these days. "Thank you." She got in and settled in the seat, putting her seatbelt on. She just wanted to not think, which was a strange, new feeling for her. Surely an intelligent person like herself would always want to think? But her thoughts were too heavy, and threatened to weigh her down, drown her if she let them.
