The gifts in the trunks were eggs, magical eggs at that as when opened they would do a butterfly effect out of the egg and to the ceiling while he would hear Sky speech about the trunk and how the Fairies and Specialists have always been supportive of one another as schools and as a faction while Cinder and Brandon stood with the trunk while Cinder looked around seeing the various girls there and his mind wondered back to the Goddess, he wondered if he even made the right choice. He wasn't one for total power but wanting to get stronger to protect the people he loves and holds dear in his heart. He did not think he was wrong for choosing that or believing in that as his mind soon returned to the end of the speech.
