[b]Personality:[/b] Shion is the sort of person who can be described as the “kind, yet teasing big brother” person. He’s very attentive to people and try his best to help them in whatever problems they might have, but doesn’t lose the chance to provoke them in any sort of ways. He does that mostly for making them smile, which is what Shion likes to see on people.

Although he doesn’t act like it, Shion is a natural tactician. He has a tendency to analyze everything, whether trivial or important, in order to use them for his’ and his allies’ favor. If he’s not doing anything, he plays strategy games. Not just for entertainment, but for his own mind to keep working.

Shion also tends to be an instigator, trying to push people to take decisions, whether they are positive or negative. That being said, he doesn’t like being put into pressure whenever he needs to decide, nor being interrupted when he’s planning or concentrated into something

[b]Bio:[/b] Sumizome no Shion is the eldest son of a quite regarded family back in Japan. Unlike many Arms Masters, whose life was somewhat normal until the appearance of the Noble Arm, the Sumizome family was already quite knowledgeable about their existence, being really focused on studying and understanding their existence and functions, which made them one of Japan's official researchers of Noble Arms. Following the traditions, Shion was taught ever since his childhood about them, while knowing he could have the prospect of becoming a Master himself.

The prospect became true and Shion's powers revealed ever since he was a 4-year old child. His training started from them onwards, with it helping on the studies conducted by the Sumizome. He was constantly balancing between his normal life and his training for years, while also becoming interested on strategies and tactical studies. Since his family has a history where most of their ancestors were tacticians of great importance to the Japanese war eras, Shion also harbored a love for tactics and immersed himself in that world. It began with the simple gaming of shogi, but with him already proving himself a great opponent to whoever decided to face him. He was eventually crowned Japan's shogi champion at the age of 13.

However, shogi grew to be uninteresting once he had already claimed the top spot. He decided to play the western version of his game: chess. It was similar to it, but he eventually loved how it seemed more eccentric. But the game wasn't known by anyone in his home or land, so he needed to go elsewhere to learn it. One problem existed though and that was the Sumizome study of Noble Arms. Shion was a fundamental part of it and it couldn't be stopped for his whimsical desires. At the age of 21, he decided to use the excuse of learning about Arm Mastery outside Japan in order to further enhance the study of Noble Arms, which was perfectly accepted by the rest of the family. With that, Shion travelled to the United Kingdom, in order to learn about chess and helping with the study. It didn't took too much time for him to be an excellent player of chess. Life turned around differently as he was called by the military after he won a national game. They had interest on how Shion was able to easily outsmart his opponents in a single game and decided to call him in as a strategist for an upcoming problem. He accepted the invitation and joined the ranks.

At that point, he learned about Operation: Symbiote. He was immediately placed upon the project, even though he never revealed anything about it. When Shion met with the general of the United Kingdom Army, he explained about his contact with the Japanese army while requesting their aid and was informed about the young man. Considering the operations were still in Asian solo, but could expand to Europe soon, they wanted to prevent such risks and needed an Arms Master to be sent there as a representative. With an agreement on both countries and his acceptance, Shion was sent as a representative of both countries. During the five years as a member, he stood the first two acting behind the operations as a strategist/tactician and deployed himself on the remaining three, proving himself to be a recognizable force amongst the operation and becoming a Major after his efforts.

One day, Shion receives a new order, one that would be kept permanently: watch and instruct over a possible new member of the Intelligence Squad. The name of the boy? Ein Rubicante.
