Qel is a lean, wiry-framed Twi'lek of 6'0. He has a slender, athletic physique. His skin is a distinct, bright shade of yellow, with several minor scars and blemishes on his face and limbs. A variety of solid-black Sith tattoos coat his entire body, including his lekku; on his face, they frame his eyes and cheekbones. His lekku are slightly shorter than average, due to his mixed race, and his skin is firmer and more rough than most Twi'lek. His face is gaunt, but seen as handsome by most. His eyes are a deep shade of brown with an underlying red-orange hue. He often keeps his left lek wrapped over his right shoulder, leaving his left lek to droop. His movements are considered and direct.

Qel is a pilot of moderate ability, being competent enough to hold his own in a naval battle; however, flying is by no means his favoured battle approach. He is recognised for his ability to move quietly with haste, having studied infiltration techniques should he be required to execute a stealth-based mission.

Observed from a young age as a fantastic duelist and fighter, Qel' greatest strength is his prowess with a lightsaber. Having spent thousands of hours training to be physically drilled and technically adept, he is more than capable on the battlefield; having only lost to his superiors in sparring. With his force focus also geared towards combat scenarios, Qel is undoubtedly best fit to serve the Sith on the front lines. He is adept in Form II, Form IV, and Form VII; favouring the latter, and intermediate in the other lightsaber forms.

Qel is both respected as a warrior, and public mockery for his impure blood. As a Twi'lek born of Sith Pureblood descent, many do not take him as seriously as they could. Because of this, he is at a disadvantage when it comes to political alliances and associates. However, he has commanded the esteem of his peers with his prowess in battle and charismatic personality, and many now recognise him as one of the finest young warriors in the Empire. That being said, he still has a great deal of doubters, which is said to publicly irritate him due to his evident aspiration to one day ascend to the rank of Sith Lord.

For the most part, Qel has kept his nose clean. He has no long-lasting fueds, as he is known to deal with negative situations immediately as opposed to brooding. He has, however, publicly lashed out at those of his rank or below who mock his blood status.

Qel's temper has compromised a mission once, and, according to his psychological evaluation, has to the potential compromise future operations. This, paired with his inability to follow orders when driven by passion or anger, is a cause for concern to the Empire. Qel is known to be overly arrogant, and is liable to make rash decisions.

Qel is the first of two children born of Dheros Reev; a Sith beastmaster stationed on Korriban. Dheros was the only offspring of Talos Reev; a Pureblood Sith Lord known for his expertise in war, and off-hinged mentality. Talos had harems of Twi'lek mistresses, a species he adored the appearance of. His love for Twi'leks was seen as extremely irregular by his peers, with Purebloods typically considered the most beautiful race in Sith culture. Talos became infatuated with Oheni, a golden-skinned mistress of his. He was obsessed with the concept of Oheni birthing his children, and, via alchemical experimentation and persistance, Dheros was eventually concieved, with blood half Twi'lek. Talos died during the Battle of Alderaan in 3667 BBY, but left his lightsaber and legacy behind to his son; who, by many, was branded impure and mocked due to his mixed blood. Dheros, a red-skinned Twi'lek with the ridged skin of a Pureblood, had an affinity with beasts and creatures, and pursued the role of a beastmaster, eventually settling in Korriban as an instructor to other beastmasters. There, he had two children with a Twi'lek security agent in the employ of the Empire; Basela. His firstborn was Qel, born 3675 BBY, and his second ????, born 3670 BBY.

Whilst his father leaned away from combat, Qel showed an affinity for it from a young age. Due to having the blood of the Sith running through his veins, and displaying competency in the force even as a child, Qel was taken on and trained in Korriban from boyhood. Competent in the force, and a fairly mediocre star-pilot, Qel's true talent was in direct combat, surpassing his peers in lightsaber combat and asserting himself as one of the most gifted warriors in his age group. By his mid-teens he posed a potent opponent to many adults in sparring.

Upon ascending to the rank of apprentice, Qel's father gifted him the lightsaber that his grandfather had wielded years ago; an elegant, red-bladed saber. Dheros was no warrior, so it had no use to him, and he wished for his son to bring pride to the family name, carrying a weapon that had once been wielded by the Lord Talos. He did not spend long as a dependent apprentice, proving to his lord that he was capable to go out on his own. By his mid-20s, Qel had been sent out across Sith space to enact a multitude of operations, gaining a great deal of experience in only a handful of years.

Aged 28, Qel had successfully executed several important missions, including the assassination of an infamous mercenary and the obtaining of important intel on one of the Republic's fleets. He had also compromised a mission after arguing with his partner, who mocked his blood. Due to his mixed success, he is seen as a risky, but potentially hugely valuable asset to the Empire, with his superiors largely undecided on him.[/hider][/hider]
