It is a broad weapon with a rounded point, built for deadly slashing and cutting manoeuvres rather than stabbing. The weapon is designed so that the blade will separate and reveal a high power rifle concealed within. He has dubbed this particular weapon "The Purifier".

[color=a0410d][B]Personality:[/B][/color] As stoic as the man looks, Oliver is a pretty chill guy at heart. He likes to take things easy and examine problems around him before he goes charging into them. When meeting another person, Oliver likes to take his time getting to know them before judging them too quickly. He is understanding of many a person’s faults, although he is not forgiving of the most heinous of human behaviours. As far as life goes, he is a simple man that thinks of it as just one big job working towards a humble future. He thinks society should be focused on providing a simple living for all.

[color=a0410d][B]Background:[/B][/color] Oliver’s family is descended from a line of royal executioners for the royal family of Mantle and Atlas. More recently, members of his family have become either Hunstmen and Huntresses or soldiers in the Atlas military, but their lineage is respected through their use of a particular sword known as the “Executioner’s Sword”. It is a tradition in the family to have one made for any particular member on their 16th birthday.

Oliver himself was raised with the aim of him going on to be a good soldier. His father, Bruno, encouraged his development in various military-related areas since his birth. Exercise was an absolute must. He was given time to study military equipment and tools and get familiar with repairing things. The only thing he lacked was proper discipline. While Oliver was never a poorly behaved boy, Bruno was far too soft to try and break him like he was in boot camp. Oliver grew up thinking life was going to go as smoothly for him as it had at home.

Going to a combat school in Atlas soon brought reality crashing down on him hard. The militaristic culture in the kingdom was a far cry from how his soft hearted father had treated him. Oliver frequently clashed with instructors who wanted him to do everything in lockstep with the others rather than giving him time to learn quietly. Perhaps it was just his particular instructors, but he always felt like he was being pressured to do everything one, pre-planned way rather than finding out the best way himself. After some time, Oliver had decided he’d had enough. He informed his father that he planned to pursue education as a Hunstman in Vacuo, where he hoped the culture would be more to his liking. Bruno was heartbroken at his son’s rejection of the soldier’s life, but ultimately yielded to his wishes, only wishing for him to do well. And so Oliver was on track to attend Shade Academy as a student.
