Eira Winters | Antarctica

Everything stopped. The fires went out, the screaming ended. It was surreal, to go from such a frenzied disaster zone to the gentle sloshing of water. Hayes's voice blared from the speakers, and that was their cue to go in. Find out how much they'd messed up, or whatever. With soaking feet and not nearly enough patience, Eira did just that. She accepted a towel from a medic with a scathing look, but that seemed to be all the medical attention she needed. She barely had any injuries, though she could feel herself shaking from the cold. She brushed it off, even as she shivered hopelessly. Eira took a deep breath to calm her shaking. It helped, somewhat. Then Hayes started speaking. Blunt as ever, but that was just how life worked. Some stuff about co-operation, and recklessness. Though he did not mention it, Eira gritter her teeth at the thought of her slip up with the water. She couldn't have done that and prevented it, however, it still happened and there was no way Hayes hadn't noticed. Now that it was all over, she could actually pick out a few more mistakes. He would have picked up those, and more, no matter how minor. But she would get better. She had to. But really, could he get more cryptic than 'quite interesting'? Just tell us what the damn thing is.
