Remember how Hamon was the main fighting mechanic in parts one and two, and was basically never seen again. Remember how having Hamon always gives you Hermit Purple (or al least a variation of it). Remember how DIO has Hermit Purple [i]and[/i] Za Warudo.

Remember how parts 1-3 were about fighting vampires (or in part 3's case, [i]a[/i] vampire) and then they were never seen again.

Remember how important Spin was in part 7, and then hasn't even been mentioned in part 8.

Equivalent Exchange is like the only thing going on right now, and is probably going to be immediately discarded in part 9 if part 8 ever decides to end.
