Thought I might throw my hat into the ring if it's not too late :)
Username: Whirligig Name: Sean Richmond Age: 16 Native or visitor: Visitor from Kanto Appearance: Pokémon (max 3):
Conversion Tri-Attack Teleport Signal Beam
Personality: Sean is quite a proud young man, intelligent and philosophical at times but feels he is at odds against the world. He isn't malicious but feels he often has a lot to prove and sometimes he loses track of right and wrong while doing so. Background: Sean was never allowed a pokemon. He loved pokemon like every other growing boy and watched with mounting envy as his peers began receiving their first partners, but not him. His father had once been involved with Team-Rocket as a younger man and while that was now in the past his mother had strictly forbid him from ever speaking about it. All pokemon were banned from the household in order to put it behind them. But there were times, when his mother was away, or when his Dad had one too many to drink. Sean would be told about the good ole days, full of adventure and ambition and about that one last job they never got to pull. From this bias perspective he grew to sympathise with Team Rocket and saw their ideals as a rebellion from his own restrictive upbringing, fighting the power and the oppression of the system. When he turned sixteen Sean had made his decision. His parents wouldn't let him have a pokemon, the whole world seemed to look down on them as criminals. He believed he had a legacy to fulfil. That night he took the bus to Vermillion city, with him he had the blue-prints for an old Silph-Co storage facility his father had shown him and the plans to steal the pokemon within. Several hours, tripped alarms and fence jumps later Sean was on ship sailing away from Vermillion city with his very first pokemon. He didn't know why or even if the Porygon was significant and he didn't care, he was about to start his very own pokemon adventure. Other: I don't know how the bio comes across (hopefully not too farfetched) but I don't plan on making an outright villainous character, think more rival-type morality like Silver. The Porygon isn't like super powerful or anything was thinking it might be one of the earlier prototypes without DRM installed or have some information or something stored on it.
