As per his usual routine, Alebard took a quick bath, and then spent a full five minutes wrangling his unruly hair into something that looked at least mildly presentable, grumbling the whole while about the frustrations his hair caused him. After getting his hair into some semblance of order, he pulled on a pair of brown pants, a sand red tunic, which he tightened around his waist with a brown leather belt, and a black cloak over it all. He returned to his room to fetch Zalek, who happily flew and perched onto Alebard's shoulder, and almost immediately proceeded to attempt to climb up the side of Alebard's face. Alebard sighed as he grabbed Zalek by the neck. "We've been through this a million times, Zalek," he scolded mildly. "My head is not a perch." Even so, he couldn't help but smile, ever so slightly. This matter of Zalek trying to climb onto Alebard's head, and Alebard stopping him before he could do so, had been going on so long now that it was practically a game - one that Zalek had yet to win. With his friend riding on his shoulder, Alebard headed down to the cafeteria to get food for him and Zalek. He piled one plate with ham, bacon, and sausage, and then got another plate with a hearty omelette. He set both plates down at the first available seat he found in the cafeteria, across from one of the boys from house Bestia. Alebard gave the boy a nod. "Silas," he greeted cordially as he sat down. Zalek hopped down from Alebard's shoulder and quickly began digging in to his plate of meat while Alebard began eating his omelette.
