Also being a fortune teller, she is very knowledgeable of mystic arts and arcane teachings. On the other side, she's not fond of opening up yo or trusting others. Though, she doesn't necessarily hate people either, knowing that all individuals have different facets. Fu may come off as shrewd and pessimistic, but she's a good person at heart. Background Fu's exact origins are not known, only that she was born in a forest within Ghaba Medina. Having no parents to speak of, Fu was forced to fend for herself for quite a while. Eventually she happened upon a mystic monk during her journey. Taking pity on the lost soul, the monk adopted her and taught her about the world. She also learned the teachings of fortune-telling and fengshui magic from the strange monk, which he made use of in the market of trade. He had a shop/home setup in Mizu Port, where Fu spent many of her years growing up. Eventually the monk passed away, but he had confide his arts in Fu and by that time she was mature enough to take care of herself. She now continues to carry his profession and sell her magics to tourists and occultists alike. While living mainly in Mizu Port, Fu usually travels all over the place. She collects materials for her magics and has a network of other merchants she remains in contact with; they are often required to meet in different places and trade supplies and information. One day on her travels she comes across a strange woman running berserk, in order to calm her down Fu attached a talisman to her head. Helping the young woman curb her vicious tendencies, she eventually developed a kinship with her. The two decided to become sisters and Fu gave her the name "Lin". They now both run the old monk's shop together. Appearance Physically, Fu appears as a young woman with long black hair that she usually keeps tied up in an elegant ponytail. She has fox-like characters befitting a kitsune, having several tails and two ears covered in white fur with a red tint. She stands at about 5'7'' and is almost always seen carrying a parasol and wearing a white fox mask with her while she's out traveling. Fu also has a few slash marks on her left abdomen, and she doesn't ever speak of where she got them from.
Allegiance Fu believes it is not wise to have strong opinions of matters that one does not fully understand, she only knows that this war started because Akarin's youngest sibling was slain. Fu can be described as lawful neutral - she'd rather stay out of the conflict if possible, but she does not believe in senseless killing. Abilities Fox Fire - Fu can innately cast magic that manifests as blue fire spells. While mainly used for self defense, the effects of the flames can also be used to ward curses and create illusions. Talisman magic - Fu is able to utilize the use of talisman seals and tarot cards to enfeeble enemies. This can range from binding to conjuring elements. However, most of these talismans have a one-time use and she can only carry so much with her at a time. Iaido - Teaching herself to the point where she became quite proficient, Fu is versed in quick-drawing sword techniques, which in some circles is known as iaido. Her sword comes as a concealed weapon in the form of her parasol, which is why she always has it on her person when out traveling. Strengths Business suave - Having been raised to be a merchant at a young age, Fu is quite knowledge and skilled in business practices. She makes a practice to always keep up with the latest trends and gossip, in addition to any current political affairs in order to understand the minds of consumers. She can also be thought of as a fast talking salesmen, using reassuring and elegant words to sell fortunes and little trinkets. Young women and aspiring entrepreneurs are some of her most frequent customers. Keen eye - Fu has developed a powerful eye for detail in her years. Appraising items she receives from her vendors and reading people has allowed her to become sharp witted and keen to even minute details. Being a kitsune, she has a strong connection with nature and can sense changes in the environment. Resourceful - Being forced to fend for herself at a young age, Fu knows how to use anything at her disposal to her advantage. Now even more so thanks to the large amounts of information she can obtain from social networking and trade markets. Weaknesses Introvert - Outside of business, Fu doesn't normally indulge in casual conversation, save her sister. This can make her hard to get along with. Drinking - When she came of age and had alcohol for the first time, Fu enjoyed it a bit too much. On restful days she usually lazes the day away downing the booze. Amazingly, this has yet to negatively affect her relationship with other clients and vendors. Her sister - If nothing else, Fu cares deeply for her foster sister Lin and would do anything for her. Due to her 'condition', Lin's connection to the living world is already tentative at best. Anyone aware of this could use it to their advantage if they plan on making an enemy out of the pair. Their movements are stiff and are often see getting around with slight jumps. It is for this reason they are also called "hopping corpses" by those familiar with them. They are often dull-witted and act only on instinct, though depending on the sorcery cast on them intelligence can vary.

Personality ⭐Playful ⭐Cheerful ⭐Easy-going | 🌙Air-headed 🌙Naive 🌙Vicious Background One day on her way back home, Fu sees a young woman with pale skin passed out on the side of the road. While the girl didn't have a heartbeat, she still moaned and moved slightly as though she was alive. Fu thought of her foster father for a moment and decided to take the woman with her back to Mizu Port, hoping to nurse her back to health. On the way back, however, things took a turn for the worst. The young woman awoke in a vicious temperament and attacked Fu without warning, leaving a scar on her left abdomen. The woman flung around with no rhyme or reason, destroyed trees, boulders, and gravel just to get to her caretaker. Not wanting to kill her, Fu used a talisman in an attempt to quell her ferocity. Fortunately her plan worked, not only was she now calm but the woman was capable of speaking now. The pale-skinned girl spoke in a cheerful, childish tone in stark contrast to her prior demeanor. She explains to Fu that she is a 'jiangshi' that sustains herself on magical energy. She is able to do this without harming anyone, but if she doesn't have a seal of sorts she'll enter the frenzied state witnessed earlier and eventually pass out. She thanks Fu for her kindness and the two safely return home. After a while, Fu and the girl form a kindred bond with one another. Fu decides to adopt the girl as a younger sister and teaches her how to run the shop. Fu gives her new sibling the name 'Lin', which she gleefully accepts. From then on the two were inseparable, often traveling together when possible. After a while, Fu would sometimes let Lin run the shop while she went away on business. To make sure Lin never went berserk, Fu sealed a special talisman onto her, ensuring it wouldn't fall off under normal circumstances. Also long as the seal remained, Lin wouldn't go berserk and could function within the town without worry. Appearance Lin is a girl standing at about 5'5'' with pale, whitish skin and long brunette hair. Her eyes are a curious red and wears oriental clothing complete with bandages and hair bands here and there. Most of the time she dawns a silly smile on her face, even if the situation doesn't call for it.
Allegiance Lin is on whatever side Fu is on. Being the airhead that she is, the complexities and nuances of politics and social allegiances usually go right over her head. Abilities Enhanced Strength - Being a magical corpse has its advantages. No longer limited by mortal constraints, Lin has access to frightening physical prowess. She can lift heavy object with ease and shatter stone with powerful kicks. Lin can also elongate her nails into sharp claws for rending. Durable - The sense of pain and fatigue are duller in Lin's body more so than others. This allows her to perform with less caution while in battle. Blue Fire - The magical energy given off by LinLin's body manifest itself in the form of blue fire. This substance natural flows around her during battle, and can add a fiery punch to her attacks. Strengths With her strength, Lin is very useful for manual labor and removing path obstacles. Her optimism can help bright light to an otherwise gloom situation, and she is also quite skilled with parlor tricks (Juggling, acrobatics, sticking swords in the mouth, etc.) Weaknesses LinLin isn't the sharpest tack in the box, often missing key details and important information. She also needs to eat magical energy for sustenance quite often, which her sister provides. Even more crucially, without the seal and running berserk for too long, Lin runs the risk of dying fully by expending all of her energy. She is also rather naive, and will believe the words of anyone she trusts.
