Ringcrafting. Sauron is really good at making rings. He's like, the best. They give you some pretty cool powers, and stuff like that, and there's also this main ring or something that gives him control over you, but don't mind that. Oh and also a piece of his soul is in the main ring, or something, and he needs it to be at his full power. It also sort-of has a mind of its own - he can see anyone who wears it and it will probably try to find its way back to him, except when it doesn't, because plot.
