Ardur moved along quickly and quietly with the others paying attention to the land around them. He was actively looking for any animal signs or signs of anything really, especially goblins or intelligent things. The area they moved through slowly turned from thick vegetation to just patches of grass and sparse trees. He didn’t like being out in the open like this, perhaps it would be better if they went back downhill towards the valley floor.

[color=92278f]“Whelp this is officially the furthest I’ve been away from the cave and the most exposed I think we have been.”[/color] Looking to Asura then to Steve he smiled, [color=92278f]“be sure to keep alert Steve and use those many eyes of yours to alert us to any movement that doesn’t look natural.” [/color]So far, his friend hadn’t shown any issues with communicating between the two of them. Ardur wondered if it was a mental connection in the end thanks to taming that didn’t need verbal commands or if it was possibly something that was unlocked at a later time.

[color=92278f]“personally I think we should keep to the low ground and if we do find a spot to rest or make camp we should make sure it doesn’t look like anything else is using it as a home either. Also my opinion when it comes to new contacts is to watch or observe it to get as much information on it that we can, if possible, before engaging with it.”[/color] Ardur took this time of slight pause to get a good feel for the new surroundings.

This means the high pixie was constantly scanning the surrounding area for anything that looked new, interesting, or alive. He figured that since they were in an open area now that most creatures would try to run from them. now that they could, unless they believed they could take the group on. If they were that aggressive it meant they were more than likely stronger than all of them. Some of the things he remembered from that nature channel he liked so much was animals tend to attack others when the odds are in their favor that they can get a kill without being injured. An injury out here could mean death even if you got your kill.
