[b]Personality[/b]
Percival is like a hazelnut, he is hard and bitter on the outside, but he is sweet and caring inside. He has a hard time forming bonds and being around people. This usually leads him to be alone all the times or sometimes mocked. Whatever happens, he does not seem to care. Not everyone can crack his hard shell. He has anxiety that sometimes shines through but seems like healed. Despite all of this, he sometimes shows hints of a sense of humor.

[b]History[/b]
Percival had a tough childhood, his family were two kinds of people that should never be in the same room. This usually led to arguements and fights which made him uneasy and kept him from sleeping. His only escape was music and Duel Monsters. He never learned how to form proper bonds with people. His only bond was his uncle. 

His parents got divorced around the time he was 5. Constantly going back and forth to both of his parents’ houses he was not happy and his parents’ behaviour towards him did not help. His mother was with a man that sometimes did not allow him to go inside the house. His father gave him a shelter but he never acted like a father. This left him as a table trying to stand on 2 legs.

Around the age of 10, his father hired a babysitter for him as he refused to take care of him and he could not even see his mother because of her boyfriend. Because of this, he had to go through sexual abuse. The babysitter saw him as her “toy”. He was saved by his uncle. From now on, things were looking good. However, the scars were deep and never fully healed.

His uncle taught everything to him. He showed him how to play the guitar and he made possible for him to learn about duel monsters. His uncle was the one who made Percival who he is.

Percival always wanted to the best duelist he could. He does not know if it was luck or destiny but, one day he learned about Mitsuri Campus’ existence. He begged both his mother and father to go there. They both did not care about his dreams. However, there was someone who could make this dream come true, his uncle who was always out for him.

Percival got to get his uncle’s old duel disk. He was ready to go. While on the way to the academy, he reached for his deck holder out of boredom and realised it was empty. He found a note saying he had to earn his deck back. He construced a deck with his lefover cards. He had to do whatever he could with what he had on hand
