It seemed things wouldn't be going the way the knight had hoped. Standing in the corridor, she flinched as she heard the storm take it's full effect, hearing and noticing the heavy raindrops that plastered against a nearby window. It made a shiver run down her spine as she realized how bad the storm would likely be. And it worsened rather quickly. A flash of lightning and growl of thunder made the knight jump. Her position unfortunately had nearby windows that made it all the more difficult on the knight. She felt her heart beginning to race with panic her gaze darted around, looking for shelter even though she was already inside. She was just about to make a run for the supply closet when someone appeared by her side. Having been too caught up in her fear, she froze for a moment as her gaze suddenly landed on Crow. She didn't know where he had come from but she found herself rather glad to see him. "I-I.. I've been better..." she stuttered as she struggled to find her words. She trembled slightly as she heard another crackle of lightning. It made the knight shift closer to him, finding it difficult to restrain herself from seeking comfort from his touch. Though she was the only guard around, the corridor was still rather open so they'd be at risk of being seen. She might have been frazzled by the storm but she was still clear-headed enough to know better. "I'm a-about one more crash of-of thunder from abandoning this d-damn shift though." she said dryly. Her gaze darted around, eying the windows fearfully, before looking back on him. Amidst her paranoia, it finally struck her that the thief was likely on his way to his lesson and she forced herself to take a small step back from him. "I'll be fine though... This cert-certainly isn't the f-first storm I've been through i-in the castle."
