After all he wasn't being talked to directly by any of them, only mentioned which he didn't mind, and he enjoyed the peace and quiet his shut mouth gave him. Especially when the prospect of talking about their past was being put forth by Manny. So yeah, Alexander kept quiet as the standing people chatted. He looked back at Father Atticus as he answered that he couldn't tell him, it was for someone else to do that. Yup, sure sounded like "I'm just following orders. If you don't like them, you can put your complaint up to brass." Why was it things around Alexander more and more reminded him of his Army years and not the life afterwards? Alexander would have preferred that his mind wasn't working so hard against him like it had for…how long? At this point it was longer than he could remember, perhaps his mind still wasn't entirely cleared of the earlier screaming-shouting incident. Perhaps it was that it ironically Alexander the Veteran that fit the post-apocalypse the best, and not Alexander the seller of electronic appliances. Was he the man didn't want to be, but had to? Alexander looked up from his moment of comteplation to feel Thalia's hand on his knee. He had zoned-out for much of the conversation between the others, but Thalia he noticed. "Sure thing. Give me a shout if you need me you too." ol' Mugsy said back to her, giving her a smile and watching her make her way over to the Tv-group. Alexander was curious as to what they were watching, but he left it to Thalia to og check it out. He wasn't about to sit down with the guy who'd called out the whole room, and frankly he liked it with his own people. Alexander looked up at the people chatting, only for his eyes to be pulled towards the door and the announcement of the new survivor. He had never seen the man before, and had no idea how he had arrived here. But as Alexander noticed he others in the room seeing the man, he couldn't help but think that the others did. Jack called him dad, Ash called to him and went to greet him while Tatiana went straight in for a hug. It was a touching scene, this was clearly someone Ash's group knew and cared about. Alexander half-smiled at the sight, looking over at Thalia over with the tv and Beatrice and Manny still with him. He wondered…if Alexander had gone missing or gotten lost, would they have reacted the same way? Would they have missed him, or…Alexander shook the thought off, though looked up at Beatrice after Panama announced the General would arrive soon. "You know the guy?"

Nigel "Hadrian" Cooper

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (Conference Room) Skills: N/A

"Don't worry about, I'll be fine with them. At least they're going to have fun." Nigel said back to Erica, trying to see the fun in a situation that would normally seem hopeless. As far as he was concerned, he wasn't wrong that Hank and Wayne would have a great time annoying their favourite Sportacus, while Nigel himself could expect nothing but raw shenanigans the coming time in quarantine. Perhaps it was for the best, now that at least the others in the room wouldn't have to deal with the madman or grumpy Shovel Knight? Nigel looked over at Wayne for a moment, catching the reference that he was looking forward to later, and actually shot him a smile as he shook his head and held up his hand. "Five fingers, Wayne. I'd hate to die." For a surprising moment, Nigel wasn't annoyed or concerned with Wayne. That was sure to og back to their old ways. Perhaps Nigel was letting his guard down during the movie? The question of who the newcomer was did catch Nigel "Hadrian's" attention. Who was it? Had someone followed them from the round-up with the two other groups? From before that, from the swamp? It caught his attention more than one of the bald girls having thrown up, and Nigel wasn't commenting on it. He knew better than to put more attention to it, she was probably embarresed. Nigel looked to Erica as they all sat down like one big happy family enjoying a movie, giving her a nod to her picking the next movie. He leaned back in the couch again, not having been this comfortable for a very long time. Right then and there he didn't mind the whole "Comfort makes soft men" thing he had lived by out in the land of the Undead, he was damn comfortable. Nigel's attention was split three-fold: The TV and the movie, the one-handed woman from the smaller group of survivors, and the final reveal of the new guy. Nigel first looked at Thalia as she came over and stood behind a chair, trying to remember if her name had been mentioned before. Nothing came to him for now, but he gave her polite smile. She was a stranger, and out there he would have been reluctant to be so friendly to her, like how he'd behaved towards Robert when he first met the now gone martyr. In here, behind strong walls and with fellow strangers however, he could afford to be nice. At least nicer than Hank, who Nigel instinctively didn't respond to other than an equal thumbs-up. "It's Nigel. Hey." he tried to correct Hank while talking to Thalia, waving at an empty seat as well. "Make yourself comfortable, we just started." Then it was the last part, the one where was a big commosion behind them. Nigel turned around to see the newcomer on the floor, the members of the large group collectively witness a long-lost son gone off to Gaul to fight for Rome now return after being presumed dead, and Tatiana nearly charging the man. Nigel readied himself for a split second to get up and finally intervene, until he saw the result of the battle, and smiled; she hugged him. This was clearly someone dearly loved by their group. Nigel slid back down into his comfortable couch with Erica, feeling good for the group's moment back there. Perhaps this was no Greek tragedy after all, but a comedy? The soon arrival of the General would maybe give Nigel "Hadrian" that answer. But first, a little watch-time of a certain bride.
