Luke is a naturally eager, energetic, and peppy person. Luke is the type of person to always search for something to do, and hates sitting around in boredom- as such, Luke is naturally athletic and enjoys any type of activity that gets him moving and working; as he would say, his least favorite activity is sitting still. 

Luke is incredibly happy-go-lucky, carefree, and nonchalant, and he seems to be in a perpetual state of bliss, an optimist before anything else that tackles any task with glee. He’s naturally courageous and dauntless, fiery as a lit match, and is almost always zestful and exuberant. Luke is an extroverted, social person, and he enjoys meeting new people and striking up conversation. Luke hates loneliness almost as much as he hates boredom, and most of the activities he enjoys involve other people- hence, he tries to spend as much time doing things with other people as he can. Luke is naturally inquisitive with other people, perhaps annoyingly so to some, but it’s normally with good intentions over anything else, and Luke enjoys trying new things and exploring new areas that he’s unfamiliar with. 

Luke is certainly not a stupid person- he’s actually a very clever quick thinker- but he lacks in other academic pursuits, especially those that involve memorization and intense math, where Luke finds a great deal of struggling. 

When in combat, Luke's personality seems to remain unchanged- he fights with a bounce in his toes and a smile on his face. Luke tends to throw battle strategy aside in favor of head-on charges, taking on any opponent the same way, oozing boldness and confidence in every punch. This confidence is a bit of a weak spot for him- while not necessarily arrogant, Luke tends to throw everything he has into every fight with the belief that he has enough talent to make every battle work. That being said, Luke is not a sore loser- while having a slight competitive edge, he appreciates a good match and respects the results.

Luke is a surprisingly innocent, almost naive person at heart, with a very black-and-white worldview. Demons bad, people good, et cetera, et cetera. He's also caring to a fault, a very sweet person that always seems to be on the lookout for people that need help, and he's always more than willing to give his friends aid. He's fiercely protective, to an almost aggressive extent, and will fight for his friends and family with great zeal. 

Luke is a fun-loving person overall, a talkative, friendly, dynamic young man that can make a great friend.

Luke was born the child of Asger Svenson and Anna Knudsen, both graduates of the School of Death and rather accomplished Reapers, though each with differing views on the School. Asger was an on-duty Reaper, working as part of a task force that hunted Behemoths that posed a threat to humans, and was passionately focused on hunting Demons. Anna, on the other hand, had retired from the line of fire and worked in a local clinic, believing that the Society was a danger to their family.

Anna was proven correct when an operation went sour and Asger, along with 12 other Reapers, were killed in a disastrous mission to slay a rampant Behemoth in Indochina. Her worst fears confirmed, Anna longed to shelter her remaining kin, her son Luke, from the dangers of the world.

This did not end up working out much for Anna. Luke took an immediate interest to sports, playing quite a few of them in his local leagues and such, but also took heed of his father’s life and career as a Demon hunter, and was quite interested in that as well. Training himself to throw punches and kicks, Luke became a talented, though unprofessional, fighter. He also took great steps to make sure he was in good physical shape. That being said, Luke did not devote all his time to training- he had a whole slew of friends and went to plenty of parties and engaged in plenty of social activities. Anna saw him enjoying his life, but feared his 16th birthday.

When that day came, and the letter did come in, Luke was a well-built, dedicated young man that desired to follow his father’s footsteps- and Anna saw she could not change that. So Luke packed his bags and left for the School of Death, ready to walk down the path to become a Reaper.
