[@CitrusArms] Yes, there is room for Pokémon Rangers and you may explore the islands as a ranger. I'd accept characters who just want to make photographs of wild Pokémon too ^_^

Your question reminds me I should make a Ranger NPC for Evoru. I have a Pokémon Ranger HQ there, but I haven't done much with it yet.
