Their movements are stiff and are often see getting around with slight jumps. It is for this reason they are also called "hopping corpses" by those familiar with them. They are often dull-witted and act only on instinct, though depending on the sorcery cast on them intelligence can vary.

Personality ⭐Playful ⭐Cheerful ⭐Easy-going | 🌙Air-headed 🌙Naive 🌙Vicious Background One day on her way back home, Fu sees a young woman with pale skin passed out on the side of the road. While the girl didn't have a heartbeat, she still moaned and moved slightly as though she was alive. Fu thought of her foster father for a moment and decided to take the woman with her back to Mizu Port, hoping to nurse her back to health. On the way back, however, things took a turn for the worst. The young woman awoke in a vicious temperament and attacked Fu without warning, leaving a scar on her left abdomen. The woman flung around with no rhyme or reason, destroyed trees, boulders, and gravel just to get to her caretaker. Not wanting to kill her, Fu used a talisman in an attempt to quell her ferocity. Fortunately her plan worked, not only was she now calm but the woman was capable of speaking now. The pale-skinned girl spoke in a cheerful, childish tone in stark contrast to her prior demeanor. She explains to Fu that she is a 'jiangshi' that sustains herself on magical energy. She is able to do this without harming anyone, but if she doesn't have a seal of sorts she'll enter the frenzied state witnessed earlier and eventually pass out. She thanks Fu for her kindness and the two safely return home. After a while, Fu and the girl form a kindred bond with one another. Fu decides to adopt the girl as a younger sister and teaches her how to run the shop. Fu gives her new sibling the name 'Lin', which she gleefully accepts. From then on the two were inseparable, often traveling together when possible. After a while, Fu would sometimes let Lin run the shop while she went away on business. To make sure Lin never went berserk, Fu sealed a special talisman onto her, ensuring it wouldn't fall off under normal circumstances. Also long as the seal remained, Lin wouldn't go berserk and could function within the town without worry. Appearance Lin is a girl standing at about 5'5'' with pale, whitish skin and long brunette hair. Her eyes are a curious read and wears oriental clothing complete with bandages and hair bands here and there. Most of the time she dawns a silly smile on her face, even if the situation doesn't call for it.
Allegiance Lin is on whatever side Fu is on. Being the airhead that she is, the complexities and nuances of politics and social allegiances usually go right over her head. Abilities Enhanced Strength - Being a magical corpse has its advantages. No longer limited by mortal constraints, Lin has access to frightening physical prowess. She can lift heavy object with ease and shatter stone with powerful kicks. Lin can also elongate her nails into sharp claws for rending. Durable - The sense of pain and fatigue are duller in Lin's body more so than others. This allows her to perform with less caution while in battle. Blue Fire - The magical energy given off by LinLin's body manifest itself in the form of blue fire. This substance natural flows around her during battle, and can add a fiery punch to her attacks. Strengths With her strength, Lin is very useful for manual labor and removing path obstacles. Her optimism can help bright light to an otherwise gloom situation, and she is also quite skilled with parlor tricks (Juggling, acrobatics, sticking swords in the mouth, etc.) Weaknesses LinLin isn't the sharpest tack in the box, often missing key details and important information. She also needs to eat magical energy for sustenance quite often, which her sister provides. Even more crucially, without the seal and running berserk for too long, Lin runs the risk of dying fully by expending all of her energy. She is also rather naive, and will believe the words of anyone she trusts.
