"Maybe I can...catch them before we leave and say my farewells. If the opportunity arises." He paused, blinking slowly through his fatigue. "Maybe I'll just apologise in our next letter to them." Breakfast began without any more words. With Ahnasha and Calia having pancakes for themselves already, Fendros and Monderyn received the next serves, Llarasa began cooking a pair of them for herself. The awkwardness kept them all quiet. Monderyn barely dared to speak his thanks for the meal to Llarasa too loudly.
