The lights overhead flickered on and off, telling Jackie that the rest of their team were doing their jobs well. Probably. She didn’t put it past this old factory to have a few kinks on its own; especially when backup power seemed to have sparked on. Jackie frowned behind her mask, though it was impossible to tell. Darker lighting would have really sold the image she was trying to portray but she supposed the half-lit shadows were fine enough even without the power cut off.

And given the fear already fresh in the air, it seemed she didn’t need to bolster her image more. She could feel the apprehension just beyond the factory doors. Jackie could hear the concern resonating in the students’ voices and indeed, the slight itch in her Quirk confirmed there was some anxiety built up by the strange occurrences outside. But that was downplayed by Miss Number One Hero, who comforted and assured her students as any teacher should.

Jackie sulked back when she saw the groups approaching, peaking through the door’s cracks. As much as she found Enterprise annoying and uppity, trying to go for her throat would have resulted in a trip to the hospital, even if she was a “child” in her eyes. No, it would have to be the children that would serve as targets. As Jackie mused on these thoughts, she stepped back further into the shadows before leaping into an airduct as the school groups came in. With her Quirk, it was easy to lightly smash through and hide away.

A moment more and some factory tour guide too airy for his own job bolted through to try and explain the bad lighting. In the middle of his explanation, an explosion that seemed to rock the barest foundations of the factory was heard by everyone present. Even Jackie recoiled a bit in her airduct, only to be reassured by Noxious’ words in her intercom. So, this was by their doing…well, it served as the perfect distraction.

There were already some students feeling antsy and even daring to explore the factory more so because of the rabble. Her initial target-that is, the one that caught Jackie’s attention first-unfortunately kept her guard up and was alert now. Phenomenal. Well…whatever. Rolling her eyes, she supposed she could still make this work. She’d just have to choose the next best option in making her debut.

And do so she did. As the students and the two teachers began heading off into their corridors none the wise, Jackie slowly emerged from her hiding spot. A jostling rattle was the only indication of her entrance as she dropped down like a rat in the vents with chainsaw in hand. It wasn’t powered on and was without sound or motion. Instead, Jackie swung the tool midair like a blunt blade towards her newfound target with an almost uncanny silence: Eira.

Someone dropped down from a nearby vent and as soon as their feet touched the ground, they launched themselves at one of the student; Eira. However, just as soon as this happened, Hayes appeared out of thin air from the side of the attacking individual and, grabbing them by the arm while skillfully dodging the weapon, used their own momentum to throw them back at the wall. Jackie performed a flip and both feet landed on the wall before landing and slowly turning back towards the whole group - murderous intents in her shining, green eyes.

Mr.Hayes had known from the very second they heard the explosion that it had nothing to do with the factory - it was the only reason he had been quick enough. "Stay back." he simply said to the students behind him.

"So many lambs..." the chainsaw wearing girl said, tilting her head to the side. At about this time, the Auxiliary power went out and only the emergency lightning provided some vision - rendering Jackie and her chainsaw all the more intimidating."...to be slaughtered. Who will I rip first?" Hayes remained silent and on the defensive, but Enterprise took a step forward, smiling in the face of Villainy. "You just have to mention things going bad for them to go bad, isn't that right? Did you have anything to do with this rotten luck, Abigail?" the Principal said, winking back at Abi.

"Now, now. I don't appreciate you threatening my students. So, this will be over..." as she said this, Enterprise got into a ready position "...Quickly!" her feet pushed her off the ground with enough force for some wind pressure to be left behind.

The next few seconds all happened in a flash...

First, Jackie seemed like she had planned this because her movement were all too perfect. It seemed like Enterprise blow would land on the villain, but a quick spin on her feet after ducking and the Principal own speed and strength was played against her. Missing her target barely - which was a big surprise to everyone involved - Enterprise broke through the wall behind Jackie with ridiculous ease.

Then, things got suddenly a lot more dangerous.

The Employee in the right corridor was long gone, running for his life inside of the nearby office. Instead stood two women - both of them scary looking and cocky looking. One sported gear that looked incredibly not adapted for the summer time, and the other...a massive scorpion tail. From the left corridor appeared two men; One with bright red hair, a giant pair of scissors resting on his shoulder and an incredibly self-assured smirk on his lips. Beside him stood an almost complete opposite man wearing good looking clothes, a top hat and a plague mask.

This would be the first time students could see Mr.Hayes looking like this; afraid. Not for his life, not of the enemy but for his students, most likely. Five enemies, and Enterprise had rushed forward. Damnit...

At the very same time, outside, Enterprise shook off some dust from her costume as she got back up from her missed attack. "Well, this was unexpected. I best get back to..."

"You are Enterprise, right?" The voice came from a woman now standing between the Principal and the hole in the wall she created. The woman in question wore a large sweater with the hood on - and a gas mask. "The one and only - but I don't have time for fans right now. I've a class to get back to."

"Good."

Noxious removed her hood then unzipped her sweater from top to bottom. She carefully got both arms out of it, then threw it away. Underneath, she was wearing a tight tank top with most of her belly and arms exposed. She had also been wearing long pants with quite a few zippers unto them which looked like the usual punk-rock look. Moving a few zippers and clasps on them, they fell to the ground and revealed tight, athletic shorts also revealing most of her legs. The Villain's leather then got to her gloves, which she slowly removed while keeping full eye contact. Her body was muscular, athletic and quite obviously trained. Her hairs were a lot longer than one could have thought, braided into two long braids running down her back. Once Noxious gloves were tossed aside, she reached for her mask and turned a small valve on it, purple fume instantly being released from it and dissipating almost instantly with a sound similar to an air lock.

"I am told you are the best this place has to offer. You want to save your students from my associate? Go - but you have to get through me first. I want to see if you are worth all of our trouble."

It was pretty ironic, Dean thought. He had posed a question when they were all still in Alcatraz, asking if there was a plan in case that Enterprise did show up. And now, Enterprise (and her students) had shown up. He would have said "I told you so" to his fellow villains, but that wasn't a very formal thing to do. He had done his job in terms of raiding the factory. Now he could purely focus on ridding the factory of the scum who had infested it. There was still a bit of preparation to do. As he heard Jackie get into position to attack the heroes, waiting for them to get close to her, Dean headed outside of the facility.

This was the industrial part of town. Lots of big buildings. So, of course, there were lots of birds to be found. His raven still on his shoulder, Dean sent out some waves. A bunch of wrens, including the ones, from earlier arrived. A nice group of starlings which had been roosting under the roof of the factory. Some pigeons, sparrows. It wasn't long before Dean had built himself up a pretty formidable, sizeable army. He could definitely cause some chaos with this and help out his fellow criminals. Dean headed around the back with his new soldiers and slipped into the corridor, the swarm squeezing in behind him. The clipping of small talons on the floor and the flap of wings filled up the empty hallways with noise.

It wasn't long before he met up with Ryan, who had his scissors bare and. Corvus shared a nod with Sharkman, and he could soon hear noises coming through his comms from Jackie. Well, it seemed like the Ripper was jumping right into the conflict with the students. It had to happen soon, Dean supposed. Although, it was a shame that it couldn't have waited until him and Ryan arrived. As they got closer to the room where it was going down, Dean instructed the birds to hang back. The element of surprise was important, after all. Soon they reached the open door to the large room, and Dean could see inside - well, some of what was inside. He could hear Noxious talking to Enterprise. That would distract the pro hero. But the rest needed to be distracted too.

He turned to Ryan. "It would be wise for you to go to the side here. Everyone else - some reinforcements are coming..

Around the corner came his swarm, funnelling through the door and filling the room quickly - but making sure to keep perimeter around Noxious and Enterprise. They were ordered to attack the students - and Hayes - and that's what they would do.

@Zaphander

From the time Gabby got off the bus, she'd silently followed her classmates' every step, and shared many of their reactions to the various goings-on happening within the factory. From the first crash they all heard, to the lights going out, to the large, empty lobby, the panicked-looking worker who burst in, and the explosion that rocked the entire facility, Gabby only found herself getting more tense and on-edge as time went on. It all came to a head when a person burst out of a ventilation pipe above them. Gabby had been quick enough in her reflexes to catch a glimpse of the assailant, a mask-wearing, chainsaw-wielding young woman. However, Enterprise and Hayes both acted before even she could, and before Gabby knew it, the assailant was at the far end of the room and Enterprise had punched a hole through a wall and was outside. Well, they were pro heroes, not just school staff.

No, the thing that didn't make sense was why that wasn't the end of things. The chainsaw girl still stood, looking quite ready. No ordinary villain, then, no - this was a person able to equal a pro hero. And worse yet, more appeared. Gabby frantically took in as many details as she could lookng in both directions. No doubt they were all equally dangerous villains. They were surrounded. And there was one more outside, preventing Enterprise from returning to their side. And what were they? A single pro hero and a small group of first-year students.

We're outclassed.

Gabby's mind went to work. They villains, six in total, had blocked off all the exits. Even if they tried to leave through the technically unguarded front door, they'd be stopped. it would be convenient if there was an exit closer to them.

Gabby's planning was interrupted by the lights dimming once more as the auxilary power ended, leaving the room swaddled in the red blanket of the emergency lighting. At the same time, from the left corridor came a huge swarm of birds all at once, the malevolent maelstrom of mallards rushing into the room and swirling around them. Yet one more thing that would make having a closer-by exit convenient.

Gabby looked up. The factory looked like it had more than one floor from the outside, but it was clear from the inside that it was simply a complex of large rooms like this, meaning going upward would mean going out to the room. She didn't know for sure whether there was a floor below them, so it would be a safer bet to try upward first. The ceiling was quite high - the lobby as a whole was maybe half the size of a small grocery store, but the distance to the ceiling was full-size for sure.

I could leap up and make a hole myself...but then how many of us would be able to follow? No, it would be better if I had something I could throw...

Gabby turned to find Peter among the group of students, shielding her face from the pecking and scratching of the birds as they came in. Her bulk meant they were mostly just flesh wounds anyway. She held out her large, muscular arm in his direction, offering him her hand.

"Gabby thinks it is time to leave! Peter! Help me make exit!"

Freya Leander ~ Cait Sith

@SimpleWriter @KaijuBaragon

At worst, Freya had expected another crash or explosion. Nothing could have prepared her for the masked woman who dropped from the air vent, swinging a chainsaw right at Eira. Before the worst could happen, Mr Hayes blinked into visibility, using the attacker's strength against her to fling her against a wall.

Rooted to the spot, Freya let out the breath she'd been holding. "Mr Hayes! N-Never thought it'd be a relief to see you pop up like that." If he had anything to say about her attempt at humour in the face of adversity, so be it. There was a lot more to worry about right now. Especially as Enterprise launched an attack that missed, crashing through a wall instead.

The hero-in-training gasped, staring from the hole to the left corridor, then the right one. Several more figures, each one just as dangerous-looking, closed in from both sides. Freya hunched her shoulders, heart thudding, a hiss escaping her mouth. Despite the dim light, she could still see the villains clearly, but not even that would be much of an advantage. The class was outmatched. Badly outmatched.

In a rush of wings, a flurry of birds burst in, lashing their talons and jabbing their beaks at any students they could. At once, Freya sprang into action. Normally, she resisted chasing birds, but this time she let her instincts take over. She launched herself at the feathered fiends, swiping and biting. Her two damaged claws stung, but she kept fending as much of the flock away from her classmates as possible.

No matter how many she staved off, it wasn't enough. As she dragged a bird away from Gabby, several others swooped overhead. Wincing at scratching sensations along her back, she spun round and pounced, finding herself faced with many more. More than she could take on.

Eira Winters | Antartica

If Eira had ever had anything against Hayes, she absolutely did not anymore. She hadn't even had time to react before Hayes had stepped in and saved her from whoever the hell that was - she shivered slightly, thinking of what could have happened if he hadn't. She muttered a brief thanks, heart racing.

But now they were surrounded. Two on the left, two on the right, Enterprise cut off from the rest of the group. These villains were co-ordinated. Then the birds came in.

"Hey, what- how," Eira hissed, trying to bat the birds off of herself. It didn't work very well, and they continued their unrelenting attacks. There had to be a better way to get rid of them than this. If they had to keep fighting off birds while everyone else closed in, they were as good as dead. These villains were the real deal. What an awful coincidence that they all happened to be at the factory on the same day.

Eira calmed her breathing, trying to focus. A better way. She could try that. She made things cold, which was kind of a hazard with all of her classmates still in the room. Having said that, birds were much smaller than them. If she were to use a temperature that was low enough to be dangerous to birds, but not to humans, that might work. She could cover a pretty decent amount of the room too. That was settled, then. Her classmates could complain later.

She activated her quirk and the drop was instant. The room went from an acceptable temperature to cold, and Eira just hoped it was enough to stop the birds, even a little. She resisted the urge to shiver. This had better work.

It would only be a minute or so before Eira's ice began to form along the floor. It would then be a couple few minutes before she would have put herself out of commission for the rest of the fight. Priorities: stay warm, make sure everyone else is safe. Something about teamwork, too.

Renard looked between Freya and Peter as Freya came closer, peter mentioning that shouldn’t lose his head. He looked up as he noticed movement. He really didn’t understand what was happening, or what it was. But clearly it wasn't normal. He pushed passed peter, not answering him Running towards Eira to get her out of the way but came to a sliding stop as Hayes appeared out of nowhere saving Eira and throwing the would be killer across the room.

Renards heart was pumping. He's come face to face with Villians before, but his father was always there and handled it himself. He was clearly nervous but excited at the same time. That excitement dwindled slightly when more villains came out, surrounding them on three sides. Gritting his his teeth he started shaking his arms rapidly but in a controlled fashion. To those who didn’t understand his quirk, it could have been seen as the kid was scared so badly he was visually shaking. Or that he he had parkinson's. Something that wasn’t too obvious that he was trying to charge as quickly as he could without taking so much attention to himself like doing jumping jacks or something ridiculous to do in this situation.

He watched carefully each of the villains. Trying to judge each of their quirks. Only really being able to make a rough guess on two of them. The woman with the tail clearly had a poisonous quirk with that stinger on it, and the woman who was speaking to Enterpise. Who started to take off her clothes, revealing much of her skin. Renard couldn’t help but turn red, giving himself a mental slap to nap out of it, reminding himself this was a villain. Clearly her quirk had to do with her skin contact, as well as her breathing as she pulled the gasmask off and a purple fume escaped from it. That alone quickly wiped the redness from his cheeks.

Suddenly birds flooded the room. Pecking and clawing at everyone. ”Are you-OW Freaking-Gah-KIDDING ME!? He growled as he tried slapping the birds out of the air. Or any that landed on him, mostly beating himself like someone would with mosquitoes.

The first few got a shock, but he quickly focused and resisted the urge to allow the birds to be shocked when touching him. He needed a bigger charge quickly if he was going to help the two Pro heros and protect his fellow students. But he wasn’t as fast and nimble as Freya to bat them out of the air with his hand.

So he did the next best thing he could think of at that moment, and picked up a chair. Not the most graceful weapon but it was much larger to swat a few birds out of the sky. Yelling a wordless cry he swung his chair, feeling a few dull thumps with the swing he smiled evilly. ”Come here you glorified buffalo wings!” As he batted two with a satisfying thump out of the air.

He was closer to Eira now after all of this as he focused on the birds he yelled, ”Eira! Can you use...! He was cut off by a sudden wave of cold that hit the room. As if she read his mind, she turned her quirk on. Despite him charging it was still sudden enough to make him shiver pretty good. He let out a little ’Haaaw’ as he started to move around more to build his heat up. He looked to her and swung his chair just over her head. Taking out a pigeon aiming for her head. Before moving away from her, he heard Gabby calling for Peter. She had a plan to get out of here. He wasn’t going to leave, but he would sure as heck try and draw the attention of the other villians from Eira and Gabby.

Swinging his chair even more now, he started to warm up slightly more. He got an idea...not the best. But it was an idea. Smashing his chair over a bird that was on the ground he dropped the remains of the chair as he ”EH!? HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT? OW!” He yelled. Looking towards the bird man. You find- ACK -This Emusing? As a bird pecked his head. He grabbed a new chair Swinging his chair again and getting a good wack on another with a crunch, sending the body right towards the man with the crow resting on his shoulder. ”Hope that this doesn’t Ruffle your feathers too much!! Wincing and pausing to beat some more birds away. ”Always thought the birds were only good for their wings!

He wanted the attention on him so the others could get the few students out of here, as well as give Eira time to make it cold long enough to effect the birds. Of course this would be pretty dangerous for him if he actually managed to focus the wrath of the bird whisperer. He was already covered in nicks and scratches. But he felt a good charge now, if he controlled it enough…

Ryan "Sharkman" Jacobs

Sharkman swore under his breath as he watched the power flicker back on. He really should have guessed that they'd have a backup generator. Silently, he strode through the darkened halls. Most of the workers were robots, so he had no opposition as he strode to the machine room, before ramming his scissors into the auxilliary generator. With the poewr completely cut off now, he headed for the reception room.

Sharkman had been watching the group of students and his teammates while conducting his little sabotage mission. So when everyone started to gather in the reception room, he pulled his mask down. Just enough to pop the plugs out of his nose. He had a feeling there would be blood, and he wanted to enjoy it.

Just outside the entryway, he took a moment to assess the situation. One of the students was lit up like a christmas tree. Corvus was dealing with him. The one that worried him was the lady with ice surrounding her. He'd noticed the dip in temperature, and was willing to bet that it was her doing. Sharkman split his scissors into two separate blades, sheathing one of them on his back. With a click, he hooked the chain on his gauntlet onto the left one. Under the cover of darkness, he slipped into the room, staying close to the walls and trying to keep out of sight. If anyone was really paying attention, they might hear a quiet whipwhipwhip sound, like a fan. Sharkman was twirling one of his blades on the end of a chain. The blade was heavy, and he was building up massive centrifugal force. With a flick of his wrist, he gave the chain more slack, swinging the blade right at Eira.

Sofia Rousseau - Noctera

"Anyone can be a fan, but not everyone can be a hero like she is. Enterprise never gives up and neither do I. You would do well to remember that." Those words she frustratingly replied to Renard before putting away her phone and following the group into the factory, stubbornly spoken in English, were running through her mind not long after the situation quickly deteriorated around her. It all felt potently unreal at first, her rational mind attempting to reason it all away as some manner of academy training routine disguised as some barely feasible encounter.

Yet her fledgling instincts ripped that logic away the moment Enterprise smashed through that wall and became separated from the others, a shadowy villain's poisonous cloud emerging as a barrier between the pro-hero and the group. Immediately, Sofia cried out for the principal, a few hurried steps forward before the predicament they were in truly dawned on her.

The onrush of aggressive avians left her frozen in place, her legs tightening against the grazing of their talons and the digging of their beaks. Her arms frantically rose to cover her face, but the instant some of the birds went to tear at her wings, the stinging pain sent her into a panic, and they flapped with enough force to blow the flock that had focused on her away, the gust just about slapping them from the air and collapsing to the ground.

Desperately trying to catch her breath during that brief reprieve, her head lifted enough for her to peer through the dark chaos that her eyes adapted to reasonably quickly, just in time to see more birds zero in on her. They are endless! There is no way we can reach Enterprise while beset by villains! We have to escape! she concluded, attempting to swipe the erratic wrens from her. Neither noxious fumes nor irate birds could hold her for very long, and if it were at all possible to rush passed the villains, she might just be able to save herself.

But in looking through the darkness and frenzied mass of feathers, she had too many reasons not to take the coward's way out, not the least of all was to put her money where her mouth was. That said, it wasn't like preserving her ego mattered the moment she spotted Freya being swarmed. With a great deal of strain in her voice, Sofia's wings surged with enough force that even the wrens that had clamped themselves down on its edges were hurled aside.

Launching herself to the girl's side and sending a third veritable tempest her way, just enough to brush off most of the flying pests away, Sofia was well and truly winded, her smaller arms clasping at her chest as she looked her over to make sure her classmate was okay to continue. "F-Freya!... We cannot stay here! If we all focus on one route to escape from, then...!" She winced in pain as more birds descended down to pick at her, and her wings rose to shield her fellow student from another incoming flock. "If I can just reach Enterprise, (grunt) th-then I can blow that cloud away!... Huh?..."

With a haggard gasp, Sofia could faintly make out how her breath appeared against the progressively frigid air, and with a hurried turn of her head, it didn't take long to find its source, Eira. Previously hearing of her quirk, she quickly put two and two together as far as the girl's intentions, giving Freya the heads up to make sure they were on the same page. Yet after doing so, an entirely different chill would work its way up her skin, the image of one of the villains brandishing a ludicrous chained blade, his intended target all too clear to someone who can see in the dark.

Sofia's voice caught in her throat, leaving her no other option but to lunge off the ground, and with plenty of wrens still picking away at her, she staggered to stay the course, her satchel falling to the floor. Not fast enough to stop the chain itself...! But I do not need to... In flying as fast as her strained wings could take her, she could feel a stiff cold overtake her as the birds on her back simultaneously began falling away from her back.

"Eiraaaa!" the girl cried out before essentially tackling the ice-mancer out of the way of the swinging blade, which narrowly missed cleaving off a chunk of her wing but did cut a fair gash across her right leg. With her body just about giving out due to exhaustion, Sofia toppled right on top of Eira, her face contorting in agony before she rolled herself off, unable to get up. Remembering the bus ride to get here, Sofia felt as though she could already hear Eira berate her for how stupid she was, and justifiably so. Her hand bitterly clawed against the hard tilework she had rolled on, not having anyone to blame but herself.

"I am sorry this was all I... I could do...!" her voice faltered as she rose her head up from the ground, looking to Eira in a way that seemed more frustrated than scared for her own life. "I cannot move like this... You have to escape with the others, pick a side to break through and do it together...!"

Fewer birds were attacking her at this point, and as a steady pool of blood was building underneath her legs, she could feel her body growing more and more numb due to the cold, her head nestled among her uniform's tattered sleeves.

Quinn Leiurus || Anarchy Red

Finishing up in the machine room and generally causing an obscene amount of property damage, Sana and Quinn had placed the explosives at the warehouse and went to reconvene with the rest of the villains. On her way, Quinn grabbed a single fire extinguisher from the wall. Never knew when she might need to use it, especially with a fire woman next to her.

A swarm of birds. Not just a few, but a legion. Maybe birdman wasn't so bad after all, Quinn had thought. Well, bad wasn't the right word. Useful was closer to what she was thinking of. The students had been assaulted by a bunch of birds and... they didn't win? Really, it was kind of sad how a bunch of birds were beating up children. Some of them did okay. Others got pecked to shit. Someone even went buck wild with a chair, crunching a few birds. Really, what kind of a hero would do that? Only villains did that.

"Nice murder, blondie!" She taunted him.

A beefcake looking girl was standing and calling for someone. Quinn really had no idea what she was trying to do. A cat looking girl was slashing birds for a bit before being overwhelmed, which was kind of sad. So much for being a predator. One of them was just standing there, looking focused. Shark twunk had thrown a knife at her, but a moth managed to take the bullet for her.

Well, it was Quinn's turn to act. Would she charge in valiantly to beat up a child? Of course not. A cornered rat can always bite back. Quinn wasn't the hotheaded type, either. She didn't want to haphazardly beat up a few children. Well, she did. The haphazardly part was what she didn't want. With the fire extinguisher in her hands, she decided to push the advantage that they had. With one, two, and three steps, she gave her throw a considerable amount of power. She hurled the fire extinguisher directly at the girl who shark twunk originally threw the knife at. Was it accurate? More or less. Was it hard? Yes. That extinguisher launched off with a considerable amount of force. It certainly wasn't going to extinguish anything, except for maybe the life of whoever's dome it was going to strike.

After that, she began to walk around the perimeter of the fight, waiting for just the opportunity.

Everything quickly went to shit.

Peter barely had a moment to put on his goggles as a flurry of action happened right before his eyes. It was almost dizzying trying to process everything at once. Random villains came out of now where and attacked the students, the teachers went on the offensive, students were trapped between enemies or separated from one another. It felt like there was a million things going on a second and Peter was drowning in the chaos. It wasn't until he was attacked by a swarm of birds of all things that he was able to focus on something at least: protecting himself. He hunkered down and covered his head; his goggles would protect his eyes as he made sure not to let any of those birds peck at anything sensitive. He would occasionally throw a fist out to try and punch a bird but that didn't work at all.

Soon Gabriela called out for Peter in between all of the squawking. She had a plan to get them out of here and needed Peter's help. He didn't have time to question what she wanted because he knew he was only good for one thing. If he was right, Peter knew exactly what Gabriela had in store so he rushed to her, grabbing her hand as he was launched through a swarm of birds and towards the ceiling. He had expected the window instead, but he could handle this too. As he was getting closer and closer Peter transformed into his boulder form, however instead of being a round stone like he usually was he took on a cone shape. "DRILL BREAK!" He roared as he began to spin rapidly towards the ceiling, burying the tip of his drill into the ceiling before continuing his spinning at an increasingly faster speed so he could break through the ceiling and give everyone a way out. And once he was out, Peter rolled off to the side and returned to his normal form, a touch winded but still alive. He looked around for any more villains, uncertain if they were out of the fire yet.

Renard continued fighting off birds when he heard one of the villians taunting him by calling him a murderer. He looks over to see the woman with the tail looking at him but she was making no move towards him. He was torn away from hearing sofia yelling Eiras name looking over just in time to see her shoving the taller girl out of the way. And being sliced by a sword on a chain through her leg.

He stated making his way back, his was to dive and grab the chain, shocking the villain on the other end. Just as he was about to though he noticed movement in the corner of his eye. Seeing the woman with the tail raising the fire extinguisher in her hand to throw it towards eira and Sofie.

Watch out! he yelled as he stepped in the way and swung his chair. As the fire extinguisher hit, it caused the chair to explode at the impact. It didn’t stop the hurling container. But it certainly deferred it enough so it wouldn’t hit sofia or Eira.

Dropping the remaining pieces of the chair to the ground he offered his hand to both of them. “come on let’s get you guys out of here! I’ll try to keep their attention on me.

He looked to see Freya nearby. “Freya! Gabby made an exit and I need your help! Getting everyone out!

Freya Leander ~ Cait Sith

@Mangrale @OwO @Heartfillia @Aviaire @SimpleWriter

As a gust of wind swept the birds away, Freya raised her head to see Sofia darting over. With a sigh of relief, she spat out a feather and nodded. "Yeah, let's..." Eyes widening at the flock diving in, she slashed as many birds from the air as she could, grimacing when some shook off her blows. Dammit, her injury was making this quite a bit tougher than it should be. Not that it would be easy even if she were at her best.

"I'll hold them off!" she called nonetheless as the flurry swarmed her again. "Go!" Just then, the temperature plummeted. Her ragged breaths misting, Freya tensed from the chill, but relief flowed through her. Seizing the opportunity once the attackers' flight slowed, she resumed tearing them away from the students. Nearing Renard, she couldn't help smiling at his jokes.

"Well, there's that chicken you wanted!" she called, tackling a bird away from him. As he slammed a chair against one, Freya leapt over his head, bringing a pigeon to the ground. "C'mon, let's all tern round and make a swift exit!"

The approach of another villain reinforced the need to do so. As the scorpion-tailed woman fixed her cruel gaze on Renard, taunting him, Freya responded with a laugh.

"Pecking at us with guilt, huh?" Her voice wavered, but she kept on. She had to boost people's spirits somehow. "That's fowl play there!" Even so, it was only now that she truly took in the carnage, hers worse than Renard's. It looked as if a wild animal had run rampant through the room - and she was that wild animal, instead of the hero she aspired to be.

A moment's distraction was all it took. Wings slapped at her face as another horde descended. Freya shielded her eyes, yelping when talons raked across her arms and her back. Clenching her teeth, she started lashing and flailing. Of course. This was what the villains wanted - make people feel bad, weaken their resolve.

At the sound of screams, she struggled harder. Tearing a path through the mass of beaks and talons, she gasped. Eira and Sofia lay sprawled on the floor, blood pooling from a gash on the moth girl's leg. "No!" Horror overtook her as the scorpion woman lifted up a fire hydrant. In an instant, Freya bounded forward to stop the attacker, but was too late. She could only watch, panic-stricken, as the extinguisher sailed through the air towards the two...

And veered off course as it smashed into a chair. The crunch mingled with the roar of a drill as, with Gabby's help, Peter used his rock form to break through the ceiling. "Whew... Yeah," Freya replied as Renard called to her, pieces of broken chair falling from his grip. Not wasting another second, she rushed over.

"Eira! Sofia! One of you, hold on to me!" she shouted. This would be difficult, especially with someone as tall as Eira, but if she mustered all her strength, she'd be able to leap across surfaces with one of them until she reached the hole in the ceiling. That way, with Gabby helping others through the exit, maybe there was a chance they could all escape...

That was when she noticed whose path she'd stepped into.

Eira Winters | Antartica

Eira didn't move from the spot she was standing in for the most part, concentrating on her quirk while hitting the birds off the best she could with a non-physical quirk. It seemed that the cold was going some good, even if it did affect her classmates too. They were managing fine, and it was doing more good than bad, since they were also having an easier time against the onslaught of birds. Despite how dire the situation had seemed, it looked like things weren't going as badly as they could have been. That didn't mean that they could relax at all, but that maybe they could get out alive.

Peter broke through the ceiling at last, and Renard and Freya exchanged awful, awful puns. In this kind of circumstance, Eira couldn't find it in her to be angry about them, even to herself. It was nice that they could find it in them to lighten the mood even a little bit. She continued to do what she had been doing: concentrating on her quirk while keeping as many birds off of herself as she could. It was going well, and she was so stuck in that trance that she didn't notice to blade swinging towards her until it was a bit too late to dodge. Even if she wanted to, she wouldn't have been able to. She was frozen to the spot.

Thankfully, she didn't need to. Just as the blade was about to send her to an untimely demise, Sofia barrelled right into her, sending the two of them to the ground. Eira didn't miss the nasty cut that formed on her leg as a result. She should've just dodged it. She was really having enough of being saved today. She told herself that she could handle herself, but there was the nagging reminder that she'd be dead twice if not for the help she had received.

"Sofia. Uh, thanks, I guess," she started, not quite meeting her eyes. She sat up, ready to help Sofia up, or even carry the damn girl back home even if it killed her. It was the least she could do. But then disaster number three struck, in the form of a fire extinguisher. The universe was really against her today.

She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that she was going to be offed by this instead of the blade. Perhaps it was a little weird to be more bothered about the cause of death than actually dying, but Eira couldn't find it in herself to be particularly afraid. She didn't need to be either, because she was saved once again by Renard. It was getting less thrilling each time it happened. She gave him a small smile and muttered a weak thanks, but he had already turned to Freya so she guessed he wouldn't notice.

He offered Eira and Sofia a hand, and then Freya shouted to them. It was pretty obvious who should go, right?

"Get Sofia and go. She's injured. I can handle myself, and besides, I need to keep my quirk up. Get her help," Eira said, in an almost commanding tone. She'd kind of forgotten, what with everything that was happening, but god, she was cold. If her class was affected by the cold, than the eternally freezing Eira would have been worse. A light shiver ran down her spine, but she gritted her teeth and stood, offering to Sofia to help her up. It doesn't matter if I'm cold if everything is cold. Help her up. Get through it. Having said that, she would still do her best to make as little physical contact as possible.

It would be difficult to get Sofia out later, especially with an injured leg. Maybe Eira would be stuck and maybe she'd get hurt too, but it was worth it, wasn't it? She couldn't keep getting saved, she had to save people herself. As long as they could keep away from the villains, they'd all get out alive. And they were doing pretty good on that front...

Right?

Dean was pleased. As he had expected, the students had been immediately overwhelmed by the sudden flurry of angry birds. Whether that caused them to retreat or be injured was neither here nor there. It also gave him an opportunity to study the quirks of these students - if they were prospective heroes then it would make more sense to know what they could do and how to stop them if they ever ended up becoming active where he was active. So, for a few moments he scanned his eyes over the crowd, watching how the students dealt with his onslaught in their own unique ways.

First his attention was drawn to a girl with messy brown hair and big, wide eyes. She was swarmed too, at first, before she started leaping around and chasing his soldiers. She clearly had some kind of animal mutation, albeit not an obvious one, and when he spotted the claws he couldn't help but smirk under his mask. Very cat-like indeed. The usual tables of nature had been turned, it seemed, when she was clearly too overwhelmed. Then the tall hispanic, shielding her face from the pecks and the scratches as she talked with another student. The birds didn't seem to effect her that much, but that didn't matter. She was distracted anyway.

Then suddenly, the cold. Now, that was a bit more concerning. He drew a good portion of the birds in that area out and directed them to other areas. A student surely couldn't use a quirk like that for very long, so all he had to do was wait it out and attack other students. Then there was the boy who didn't exactly use this opportunity to demonstrate his quirk - unless killing birds with a chair was a quirk. As the corpse of a bird sailed towards him, he caught it in his hand, before throwing it back the way it came. A bird's death was always a shame - but it was for the greater good. It knew that. And as long as his crow remained okay, it didn't matter.

Then moth girl. She seemed just as vulnerable as the cat, and Dean grinned as his army zoned in on her. The gusts of wind temporarily blew them away, but temporarily was the key, and they kept at it. He turned to see Sharkman as he swung his chain at the cold girl. That was good, but moth girl managed to dive her out of the way at the last second - albeit getting herself a nasty gash. That took her out of the fight. Looked like the League of Villains was winning this scrap in a rather decisive manner, even if the students tried their hardest to put up a strong fight. But there was still a conundrum - should the heroes be allowed to escape. The logical answer was yes - but impacts needed to be made. Messages needed to be taught.

He glanced to the side, seeing The Ripper about to confront cat, cold and sparky. Meanwhile, a spinning rock had been drilled through the ceiling, launched by the muscular girl. He was confident in Jackie's ability to hold off the students, even if she was young, so the question arose - where to direct his army too now? He looked up into the hole that was created in the ceiling. There was a student up there, and he could prevent more going up. At once, about 40% of the birds on the ground floor flurried up into the hole, back on attack mode.

Gabriella Gonzales
Repulsa Libre

@KaijuBaragon

Her plan having succeeded and having successfully alerted her classmates to the plan, Gabriella had spent the last few moments in position to launch any students who came her way upward through the hole, certain that Peter would assist them in landing safely. However, none came her way. Some like Renard and Freya were occupied with running interference, preventing the villains from harming her or their classmates while Peter and herself had enacted their maneuver. Others, most notably Eira and Sofia, were not able to make it near her due to their injuries.

That delay was all the villains needed, it seemed, as a large fraction of the horde of birds that had been surrounding them changed course, instead heading up to the ceiling to block off the escape route they had created. Gabriella gritted her teeth in frustration and looked around. They wouldn't be able to last much longer if things kept going like this. She couldn't afford to simply stand in place and hope that one of the other students could handle clearing the birds, or protecting the injured.

Well, the role of protecting the injured seemed to have been filled, Gabby noted as she looked to where Eira and Sofia were laying, seeing both Renard and Freya come to their aid. It seemed like the other students were managing to either avoid becoming targets, or fending off their attackers handily on their own, too. That left only one thing for Gabby to do - make sure to have that hole cleared before Freya got Sophia and Eira under it.

And she had a good idea of how to do it. She pushed off her right foot with a small repulsion, giving her some extra distance on the first stride as she broke into a heavy-footed run, her bare feet slapping loudly on the tile floor with each step. She rushed to one specific spot - the place the fire extinguisher that Renard deflected with his chair had landed.

Gabby grabbed the extinguisher and came to a stop. Afterward, she looked up to the ceiling, and lined up her trajectory before leaping off the ground with her repulsion to give her the extra height her muscles alone could not. With the extinguisher in one hand, she then twisted her body in the air to give herself some rotation as she approached the flock of birds blocking the hole. Making sure to have eyes closed and breath held, she then pulled the lever to let free a stream of fire retardant while spinning in circles in order to spread the substance in a wide area. If it can be harmful to humans, it is more harmful to birds, I hope.

She'd descend from the resulting cloud of white fire retardant afterward, opening her eyes and taking a breath about halfway to the ground. Unless something attempted to get in her way, she'd be able to reassume her position under the hole a moment later. Due to the lightness of the carbon dioxide infused foam in the fire extinguisher, she wouldn't have to worry about the cloud falling down around her for at least a few good moments, during which she'd have time to get some students free.

Freya and Renard (&Jackie)

"Where are you going?" a menacing voice taunted at Freya as Jackie stepped to block her path. Her chainsaw was raised high as the villain made it roar louder. Her quirk was still pumped up after earlier, and this new prey would almost certainly feed her some more. Jackie saw her move around. The cat was fast, but Jackie was confident she could match her speed now. Without much more hesitation or grand villain speech, Jackie stepped forward with intents to kill.

Freya spun round, leaping back the second the chainsaw started roaring. Terror flooded through her at the sight of the masked woman, who lunged, just as intent on spilling blood as she had been earlier if not more so. The feline girl hissed and jumped aside, avoiding the weapon by less than an inch. Her breathing sped up, puffs of mist rising in the cold air. There was no way she could keep outspeeding someone of this skill level.

Renard heart skipped a beat at a roar of a chainsaw. Looking up to see Freya jumping out of the way of the first villain who attacked them. Just Barely though. He knew he was not as fast as Freya. But if he could land one hit. The girl didn’t look strong so maybe he could use his strength to his advantage. He rushed at her, trying to catch her off guard he lowered his shoulder to knock her off her feet. Keeping his charge in for a better strike later on. Wether he was successful or not he would then yell to Freya. ”Go get sofia out of here! I’ll hold her off!

A new kind of fear gripped Freya as Renard rushed to defend her. The warmth radiating from him meant a good charge building, at least, but if anything happened to him because of her... She couldn't bear to think about it. As much as she wanted to help him, though, there wasn't a moment to lose. Ribs tightening, she ran to Sofia's side.

"C'mon," she said, letting the moth girl hold on to her. Hoping not to jar her friend's wound too much, she sprang onto a cabinet, then a shelf, tearing down birds that swarmed towards the ceiling. Holding her breath, she rose above Gabby's cloud. Although Sofia's weakened state didn't allow for flight, her outstretched wings gave the jumps enough of a boost that, before long, both girls burst through the makeshift exit into the sunlight.

Breathless from exhaustion, Freya turned and stared back through the hole. Gabby had to be able to get the others out. And Renard had to be alright...

Jackie was so focused on Freya, she missed her blonde haired friend rushing at her from behind. The villain turned around just in time to get rammed in, knocking her away from her potential victim - who had fled. Slowly, Jackie raised back up and slowly turned to Renard. The previous lack of emotions in her eyes was now replaced by anger. Lots of it.

"She was mine...Mine!" she repeated, almost yelling as she charged him. She raised her chainsaw - but it was a ruse. Jackie dropped it when it was raised above her head. Since it was attached to her with a strap, it continue to fall onto her back. Instead, she launched her attack with both hands. She would grab whatever part of him she could and throw a punches at his jaw. Repeatedly. Whether he was blocking them or taking them full on didn't bother her, because her next move was to throw Renard out the window that leaded to the courtyard where Enterprise and Noxious were having a sparring session...but she wasn't done.

Jackie jumped through the broken glass, grabbing the boy by the shoulders and raising him up, looking straight up into his eyes. "You do not steal a kill from me...Not. From. Me!" with each of her three last words, she rammed him into the brick wall behind him, and on her third word, she sent him flying straight through the wall with surprising superhuman strength. It had probably also been weakened by Enterprise little show earlier, too. Once the dust settled, he would find himself in one of the corridor that had been on Sharkman's warpath.

Freya Leander ~ Cait Sith

@SimpleWriter @Heartfillia

"No... Oh god, Renard, no!" Freya could barely believe what she was seeing. Tears welled in her eyes as she watched the villain fling Renard through a window, then a wall, as easily as she'd throw a doll around. "Th-This is my fault... I've gotta do something!" Before anyone could stop her, Freya leapt to the ground, running through the courtyard and launching herself through the hole in the wall - straight at the attacker.

"Leave him alone!" she yelled, digging her claws as hard as she could into the woman's shoulders. "I'm the one you were going for!" Eyes wide with desperation, she called to Renard. "Don't worry about me! Just go!"

This wasn't a fight she could win. She knew that full well. She could only hope to buy her friend enough time to escape.

Freya and Renard

Renard coughed and grunted as he slowly moved from the spot that he landed after being thrown threw a brick wall. He cracked open his eyes, seeing stars as he did. He thought she was gunna be fast...not insanely powerful strengthwise as well. He could feel his body screaming in pain, from the cuts that covered his face and arms from the glass, and the massive brusing from being thrown through a bloody wall. He tried to get up, only managing to get to his knees, and groaning like an old man getting up from the ground. He heard some yelling from outside in the courtyard.

Looking up he saw Freya ontop of the villians back. Yelling at her and then to him Telling him to go. "No.. NO Freya! he called out. "You get out of here! Your parents willl kill me if I let you get hurt! STOP IT!" He grunted as he tried to get up and move towards the door. Only to fall once again face first.

Renard winced as the glass in his arms cut deeper after the fall, along with falling onto sharp rocks from when he broke through the wall. He felt a warm thick liquid below him. His eyes closed he slowly pushed himself up. His body straining after that beating. His body hot from the charge that had been building up. When he fully extended his arms, he pulled a knee up and took a moment to try and catch his breath and force the pain from his mind.

He Opened his left eye as his right was covered in the liquid and the hot blood coming from his own wounds. His breath froze as he saw what that liquid was… blood. As well as the body it came from. His body began to shake as he started to grow more afraid.

As he looked down at his blood soaked hands he winced as he felt a phantom pain running through the scar on his face. To him, his hands seemed to flash between his own, and a much smaller version. Both equally covered in hot blood. Screams echoed in his head.

Looking up he saw his mother lying on the ground, propped up against the couch in their living room back in Japan. Despite the blood that was sleeping through the bathroom towels on her stomach, she was looking worried at him. She pulled him closer and grabbed one of the lesser stained towels and pressed it to his face to stop the bleeding coming from his own fresh gash.

With teary eyes she said softly “Are you ok Ren?”

Looking down at her wound which was far worse than his, she pulled his head up to lock her eyes with his. He nodded, his own tears coming from his eyes. Out of fear, pain, and uncertainty.

Tears started to stream down his own eyes as he closed them. His breath was shaky as the repressed memory started flowing back to him. He could hear Freya struggling with the murderous woman. He tried to push himself up but he couldn’t seem to find the strength… He had to protect her…

”You were so brave...” She whispered. Her tears falling freely… She pulled him in and gave him the tightest comforting hug only mother could give. Renard closed his own eyes trying to push out the pain and the scene of blood that was around them. Taking in a deep breath he could smell her lavender perfume. There was nothing else he could do...

Freya yelped as the villain flung her, slamming her against a wall. She landed in the debris, gritting her teeth as the rubble left cuts on her arms and legs. When the room stopped lurching around her, she stared in horror. Unmoving forms of guards lay sprawled across the floor, and in the middle knelt Renard, shaking as if in the grip of a panic attack.

"Renard...?" Crawling out of the rubble, she moved towards him.

Renards eyes opened, despite the pain of the blood seeping into them, and the blood mixing with his tears. He heard Freya yelp once again, and heard a thud of her being thrown to the ground. He didn't realize she said his name. He only saw the villian walking towards them. But he didn't see the girl, but a large dark figure with claws drippiing with fresh blood...his mothers murderer. A sharp shock of terror flooded over him.

“Continue to be brave...my....

The terror washed away with anger as he roared a wordless yell, pushing the pain away as he literally bolted from his kneeling position towards the figure. He surprised her enough to land his first blow, a hard right punch to the face, knocking her back a bit. He didn't give her time to breath as he followed up with more punches, ducking and weaving as she tried to counter with her own attacks. His eyes wild with each strike. Till he had enough and ducked a counter swing one last time allowed his charge to be focused in a powerful kick, sending a large amount of volts down his leg and as he swung it up and planted his foot into her chest, the force of the kick and the 'kick' of the shock he gave her sent her flying backwards and into the same wall Enterpise blew open at the beginning of the fight.

He started to breath heavily now as he stood there, the same wild look in his eyes as he started to limp over to her. That one shock took most of the charge out of him. He grunted and gripped his leg, falling forward onto his knees and let out a yell of pain. He didn't' move from where he fell, but he glared over to where the villain was. Still covered in the blood he fell in, as well as his own, pieces of glass still in his face and arms.

Dazed from the physical and emotional blows - they'd been too late, people had died here - Freya steadied herself. Seeing Renard fight back, the first thing she felt was relief. Then, she noticed that manic look in his eyes as he unleashed punch after punch, before blasting the villain out of the hallway with a supercharged kick.

Without a second thought, she rushed after him, crouching beside him as he fell to the ground. "Renard, are you alright?" Her voice shook. Of course he wasn't, but she had to try to help somehow. Holding out a hand, she looked him in the eyes to get his attention. Then, slowly, she gave his shoulder a comforting touch.

A shock surged up her arm, knocking her away from him. Convulsing on the ground, she tried to stand up, only to fall back down as pain seared through her body. All she could do was stare at Renard, her face a rictus of agony and bewilderment. She hadn't expected him to be this far gone..

Peter broke through and it was fortunately peaceful, but not for long. As he looked back through the hole to help others it seemed like everyone was still getting harassed by those birds. Worse still, a whole swarm of them were about to go to the hole. Peter had to think fast; he either needed to move and avoid getting swarmed, or perhaps try and draw their attention away from the others. At least half of that swarm was going after him; if he could distract them all then that would give everyone more time to escape. That's when he saw Gabriela spray the birds with the fire extinguisher, and that gave him an idea.

"Whoever controls these birds obviously never played pokemon!"

Transforming into a golf ball sized stone, Peter jumped into the hole as the birds were getting smoked out by the fire extinguisher. In his rock form Peter didn't need to worry about inhaling any toxic fumes, so he began to pinball into the birds, smashing into their bodies and heads. He would bounce off their bodies to maintain air, and any bird that tried to grab or peck him would get a nasty cut as he spun with violent torque, keeping the birds off of him as he tried to smash them up as much as he could.

He saw something big fly through the cloud of birds. It was Sofia and Freya, being chased by it's own bird swarm. Peter made his way over to the birds and tried to smash them up but the swarm was so dense it ended up just carrying him back through the rooftop. He managed to cull a lot but these birds were endless! "Goddamn!" Coming to a stop Peter changed back to his normal form, doing his best to cover Sofia and Freya just as Freya dove off the building! Where it not for her cat-like ability, Peter would've tried to stop her, but frankly he had other problems right now. He turned to Sofia but she wasn't in any condition to defend herself. Peter couldn't administer any first-aid right now with these birds swarming them either. So he just grit his teeth and glared at this swarm. "Alright then birdbrains! This rock is about to kill a whole lotta birds!"

Peter charged the swarm to protect Sofia, transforming into his largest boulder form and made sure to keep all and any bird off of her. If any managed to get pass, he'd even come out of boulder form just to throw them off, repeatedly going in and out as needed to keep Sofia safe. He dropped his first-aid kit into her hands too, just in case she could patch herself up in the midst of this chaos.
