Rules of the Roleplayerguild Persistent Galaxy roleplay
NOTE: StarWarsPG is an affiliate of the Roleplayerguild. Follow all site rules.
~| Core Rules |~

Be Fonz Cool. Don't be an asshole. Don't spam or post advertisements. Don't use racial/sexual/other epithets or otherwise discriminatory language or jokes. And most importantly, be respectful towards the community and staff.
No NSFW content. Don’t post nudity, gore, or other explicit content. If you want to write this for this setting, you must do it in private. Scantily clad characters count as explicit content.
Don’t metagame. If you are in doubt whether it is metagaming, ask a GM.
Character sheets. All players must submit and complete a sheet. This must be approved before posting in story threads or interacting with other players. Failure to do so will get posts ignored and/or removed.
Intentionally subverting rules / GM announcements. Don’t. Just don’t. It ain’t Fonz cool.

~| Interaction |~

Permanent or lasting harm to others. Before you attempt any dismemberment, killing or incapacitation of another player’s character, get approval from that character’s player. If there’s a conflict for cases like this, contact a GM.
Unwise actions against NPCs. While you are free to do much in this world, your actions can have consequences. If you go on a killing spree, you should expect someone to aim to hunt you down, which in turn has a high risk of character death.

~| Characters |~
You may not make any of the following or have your character grow into any of the following without prior GM-permission:

Jedi Master
Sith Lord
Darth
Imperial Moff
Crime Cartel leader
Supreme Chancellor
Gray Jedi
Light-sided Sith
Unaligned force user
Mandalorian Bounty Hunters
HK droids
Following is not permitted at all:

Force-sensitive droids
Human Replica droids
Mandalorian Sith
Mandalorian Jedi
Non-Sith, Force-sensitive Imperial personnel
If you are building a Jedi, Sith or Mandalorian, you must follow the precepts laid out in their respective guides. Failure to do so will get the character denied. - Any role on the restricted list needs to be built up to over at minimum a month of natural growth, preferably more. Talk with a GM before starting this. - There are a number of restricted and banned species. These are covered in the Species guide.

Submitting Sheets

All character sheet submissions must be tagged one of these tags: [WIP] - If not yet done [Pending] - If ready to be reviewed
Once a sheet has been reviewed, feedback will be given by the GMs, either in the thread, on discord or in PMs, as deemed appropriate by the GMs.
If a sheet breaks with the rules and the GMs feel it cannot be fixed, it will be given the [Denied] tag. That means the player has to start over on a new character.
When a non-denied sheet is up to standards, it will be given the [Approved] tag. At that point, the character can be used in the IC.
Should a player choose to withdraw a sheet or want to put it on hold, it will be given the [Withdrawn] tag, or its pre-existing tag will be ammended with [, on Hold].
Any attempt by players to attach the [Approved] tag to his or her sheet without that being the case will lead to the sheet being denied.

~| Technology |~

Keep to the era and to common sense. Don’t try to bring in technology that isn’t appropriate to this era. Obsolete tech. Tech that is older than a few hundred years is generally so outdated and worn that it ain’t of any use anymore.
Other Fandoms. They do not belong here. Don’t waste the GM’s time.
Ships:

Hyperdrives. Most ships have hyperdrive type 2.0-3.0. A few, especially expensive ships can approach 1.0, but owning/acquiring such will have to be justified. Anything at or below 1.0 will be auto-denied.
implausible/invulnerable ships. Don’t try to fit things like capital-ship weapons on a small transport or making “invulnerable” ships. This roleplay isn’t about winning a pissing contest. - Don’t port ships directly from other settings or eras. You can use them as inspiration, but only if they fit into the star wars setting this PW has.
No superweapons. If you want such as a plot element, talk with the GMs first and get approval for the concept before moving on from there.

~| Plot lines |~

Talk with the GMs before barging into a plot line established by someone else with the intent of severely upsetting it. If you are in doubt whether something would be ok, speak with a GM and/or the creator of the plot line.
