I never asked for that!"
Registration Fields

[sub]Names[/sub]
Shirogane, Kurou
[sub]Nicknames[/sub]
Aerosmith
[sub]Gender[/sub]
Male
[sub]Nationality[/sub]
Japanese
[sub]Ability[/sub]
Air Manipulation

Characterization

[sub]Affiliation[/sub]
Member of Judgement and, of course, a student.
[sub]Personality[/sub]
Naturally, as an individual who has suffered at the hands of evil, Kuuro has a relatively strong sense of justice. He is incapable of witnessing true injustices take place before him without acting to prevent them. His being a member of Judgement is a result of this. That said, Kuuro isn’t exactly a flawless paragon of all that is good and just, capable of showing irritation and complaining about things he doesn’t like, and he wouldn’t turn down a reward for his service in the name of justice. Although mostly affable, he does have traits that some may not care for, such as being painfully blunt to someone being a nuisance. He is not known to intentionally start fights, however. Kuuro is an individual that while not an idiot, is more proficient as physical subjects as opposed to mental ones. He tirelessly trains in an attempt to “level up” and has no qualms about doing manual labor, considering it a means of improving his body. He is known to occasionally overwork himself, what with his tendency to take on more than he can chew, but he does occasionally allow himself to relax, watching anime or playing games.
[sub]History[/sub]
The majority of Shirogane Kuuro’s life was unremarkable. Born in Academy City and raised by his parents for the first half of his life, he’d never experienced any true hardships nor had he been completely sheltered. But he was never unsatisfied with the life he lived, and was content to remain average until he died of old age. That is, he was happy to do so until he lost his parents to an armed thug his budding esper abilities couldn’t touch. It was a tragedy without a happy resolution, as all efforts to locate the perpetrator fell short. For a while, Kuuro was left with naught but sorrow and self-loathing at his powerlessness, his forgettable life cursed with a painful memory. Kuuro could not stand to live his life so incorrectly forever. He managed to bounce back and find a new purpose in life -- to become strong enough that he’d never lose another loved one because of his weakness. To that end, he vowed to become the strongest anybody could be, a Level 5! His fervent pursuit of this goal was also aided by a newfound sense of justice. Which incidentally has led to him harboring a rather sloven woman, but that’s besides the point. As an aspiring Level 5 and a member of Judgement, he is confident he won’t lose something precious ever again. Ironically, he’s somewhat lacking in the ‘loved ones to protect’ department.

Ability

[sub]Aerosmith - Level 4[/sub]
Kurou is able to freely manipulate air pressure. As this is a versatile ability, it naturally has many applications. Most commonly, it is used to push or pull objects. It can also be used to create strong winds or vacuums, blasts of condensed air, increasing his speed by reducing air resistance and propelling himself with pressurized air behind him. Likewise, he is also able to slow his descent in through a similar method. Limits - He is currently only directly able to manipulate the air within ten feet of him. Depending on what he is doing, his 'cast time' may range from instantaneously to requiring about 3 seconds of charge time, influenced largely by how 'big' the 'action' is. For example, slowing his descent from a fall or reducing air resistance on himself would be instant, but creating a blast of air strong and big enough to throw a car would require a long charge, but a smaller blast that could floor an average person would merely take a second. [sub]Expertise Kit[/sub] Housework - After his loss, nobody else was left to do his chores, so naturally he became proficient. Cooking - Able to cook a delicious home meal given the proper ingredients. Could potentially have become a chef, were that his passion. Physical Work - He’s been made to do many different physical activities, such as lifting heavy objects, pulling weeds, mowing lawns, walking dogs, and even digging. Has no trouble with that kind of stuff, and of course has the strength and stamina necessary. Parkour - In conjunction with his esper ability, he is akin to a monkey, effortlessly clambering over obstacles, scaling buildings, and jumping between rooftops. Fighting - He has been in his fair share of fights, mostly against bullies and thugs. In hand-to-hand fighting he isn’t a professional or anything, but can hold his own. Most remarkably is his skill with a staff, which he is much better with. [sub]Expertise Kit[/sub] Carries what you would expect a student to, namely a cellphone and oftentimes books and the sort. As a member of Judgement, the armband is obviously there. Wallet, too. Most unique and strange thing on his person would be a small rod that can extend into a hollow metal staff, which obviously serves the purpose of acting as a weapon. It had once also served the purpose of allowing him to fire compressed air blasts with minimal effort, but he no longer needs to rely on it at this point.

Relationships

[sub]Family[/sub]
His only family left is an uncle, who provides stipends monthly to keep a roof over Kuuro’s head. He lives quite a bit aways, but they meet up occasionally.
[sub]Peers and Foes[/sub]
Kagami, Nero Etheldreda - After an awkward introduction, Kuuro was convinced to let her crash at his place. Is of course also acquainted with many members of Judgement, and classmates.
